Rockstar suspending gameplay to fix Godmode and Money hack issues

Simply put ladies and gentlemen,

How does everyone feel if Rockstar were to suspend online for a certain amount of time to fix these issues which are becoming more frequent?

mostly to fix the money hack issues and the now apparent Godmode.

I personally wouldnt mind maybe a couple weeks. I could get back to Michael and Franklin and Trevor.

Or what about maybe making online with invite only lobbies for a period of time?

It really wouldn't bother me at all if they did, but I believe that they won't.

 

I just wonder: if and when they finally plug all the holes; if they will make the decision to do a complete wipe or a severe stat reduction to everyone in an effort to balance the game and get everyone back on equal ground.

i feel you man but i just feel like these 2 issues are so far gone right now its like filling a hole in the Hoover Dam.

thats why i think they need a break to cathc up.

and im not asking for a complete wipe on all stats, but maybe thats an option too.

I can't see them doing it now, when thousands of people will probably get this game tomorrow. It would have made sense 2 weeks ago but this proliferation of modders has happened so quickly, R* seem to always be playing catchup.

everytime they claim to balance the game it's at the cost of the players.

payouts get reduced, and glitches or other forms of profit

get patched or hotfixed almost instantly.

 

for months everybody is screaming for heists wich they said would come this fall

then fall came and all we got was some shorts and a broken bottle.

 

same again now with the christmas gifts

i mean, who needs heists when you got a santa mask right ??

I actually think now is the best time since there are so many new players coming. A new years reset and hack patch... plus some rule changes and matchmaking fixes...

Good point with Christmas coming, but that would give the new players a chance to do the story mode just like the rest of us when the game first dropped.

UHm...no. EA is doing something along the same line for BF4...suspending the release of the DLC until they fix their online issues, and we see how that's working out for them.

One thing to help offset the money problems would be to change the cost of items to a percentage once you cross a certain amount of money say 1.2 million

keep the price of items like the tank hidden until you reach the rank required, then require the purchase price to 99.9% of money in the bank, and start doubling up on ammo cost if you only buy at ammu-nation ......let ammo be purchased like normal if you start and complete any modes that require ammo, ..and Also only allow the ammo purchase to effect 1 or 2 weapons to get the discounted rate after that you pay a big percentage of money

 

the same thing for calling in tanks and other grief vehicles make it cost a big percentage.....of your cash

 

Modded systems are always going to out there, so stopping people from gifting will be almost impossible .......

you can almost tell instantly as soon as you start a new lobby. theres a group of white dots downtown... almost certain theres a tank war.

I went to 8 different lobbies earlier today and all of them had at least one hacker. I received over $800 million in one lobby (already received a sh*t ton over last few days). The next three lobbies I went to had at least 4 people level 500 up to 1000 as well as level 20-30 levelbplayers in tanks. The next had a dude dressed as Santa in god mode. The next two had million dollar bounties being placed on players. The last one had three people in god mode and I was given around 50 million. I want to earn my money for that's what makes mission replaying tolerable. Now being an unwanted billionaire I don't do missions due to the lack of motivation. I can handle noobs in tanks, but godmode, thats total BS. Along with those problems and the fact I still have server connection issues, gives me a bleek outlook for GTAO.

I guess I wouldn't mind. They pretty much changed how freeroam is played.

 

Nobody is chasing simeon's cars, the armored trucks, doing robberies or even doing good old fashioned GTA trolling. People don't even/barely deathmatch anymore...and that makes me a sad panda.

 

Everybody is either

 

(a) chasing hacked bounties.

(b) trying to kill the hackers.

 

B is quite a lot of fun but it gets boring after a while. Especially when you realise they placed hacked bounties on themselves so even if you kill them while they are using godmode, you still end up getting corrupted by their nauseous influence...

 

From what I understand, there's even hackers in missions sharing money,etc...

Are races and TDMs still safe or did the hackers get to them already ?

 

How am I supposed to farm the trust no one achievement/tattoo if no one gives a sh*t about my lures anymore, lol ?
