I like the confidence "pass if correct", and it is not misplaced, you are spot on!

 

Clue explanations:

 

 

Clue #1: 2 mandatory appearances.

He appears in the cutscenes for Trevor Phillips Industries and The Crystal Maze, which are necessary to complete the game.

 

Clue #2: Unashamed agreement.

The bar tender calls him a "dumb, ignorant, white trash hillbilly" to which he replies "you're damn right!".

 

Clue #3: Probably drinks quite a bit based on what evidence we have.

From the two appearances he's in exactly the same place by the bar, with a big glass of Whisky and a suspicious amount of empty bottles in front of him. The bar tender clearly knows him well so he is obviously a regular boozer.

 

Clue #4: [Cryptic Clue] Sun coloured Knave

The colour of the sun is yellow. Knave is another name for the Jack in a pack of cards. Yellow Jack is the name of the Inn he frequents.

The type of beard he has - sideburns joined to a moustache, with a shaven chin.

 

Clue #6: Applauds Trevor Phillips

He claps when Trevor interrupts a fight by knocking a random drunk scrapping with Joseph out.

What he is wearing.

The 16 hour rule (3) exists because sometimes people post a clue, then forget about it and disappear for days, which stalls the game for everyone. We had no way of knowing whether you would come back or not.

 

Rule (14) states you should only post a new clue after 3 guesses OR after 6 hours have passed. If there's not many people guessing perhaps its because it needs to be narrowed down more, so I think it is generally good to use the 6 hour option - if nothing else, it reminds players you haven't forgotten. I would keep your clue in the bank and jump in with the next time you guess right or a free turn becomes available. Only one guess was made so disruption will be minimal.

 

As a side point, I would prefer you use the "n" word less. I don't think its cool. Slink Johnson can just about get away with it, but saying it doesn't make him cool - it's just his natural level of coolness is through the roof. Don't confuse correlation and causation.

 

Anyway, although we've had no new guesses, we have had 6 hours, so I can give another clue.
