Wow, my Viper doesn't handle worth a sh*t now! Good job on this Rockstar. Did something right finally. Amazing how the underpasses are lightly dusted, and even the railings and street lights and logs and all have snow on top of them. I wonder how they managed this? I at first thought it was just a simple, "replace all textures with white," but it's far more than just that.

Well, this snow needs to stay a thing. So much more interesting now that all the Chrome Adders simply go flying past, out of control.

Quit the game and restart. If that doesn't do it then there's a bug, but I doubt that as this game doesn't have any bugs :p

Oh, and some random guy gave me 1 billions $ as soon as I logged in, as if I wasn't worried about the 200 mill I already got yesterday, oh well, time to go christmas shopping I guess.

yh I can't see very far either mate :/

 

It looks like they've basically added an extra texture over everything and then added a filter so you can't see into the distance, so they don't have to worry about the extra texture rendering properly at distance. I'm gutted. I was really looking forward to getting some nice shots from the top of Mount Chilliad, but you can't see sh*t from up there.

 

It's awesome otherwise though - I'm not being a moaning minnie about it. I'll leave that to the regular moaners.

Worked the first time i logged in drove about 10ft unknown cloud error thrown out,then nothing session after session with no snow.

Should have known really.

I love the snow and all...but my fingers are cold. man i wish there were some items of clothing that would cover my fingers. Some could be made out of leather while others some sort of knitting. hell some could even have the fingers uncovered as to not become too toasty. what in the world would we call these glorious items of finger warming goodness?

No, it's certainly not texturing. I imagine it's done simular to rain...you know when it rains and the floor becomes wet. If you notice, there's no build up of snow on anything...it's all just flat and I imagine it's some sort of masking and what you're really seeing is the wet suface but they changed the properties to make it far less transparant etc.

lol thats the first thing I did as well. Got some photos up there of the sun rising behind the clouds, but otherwise not much to see.

Only thing that bothers me is that I can't run over players in passive mode :/
