I'm not sure but I think that timer is only for the availability of the clothes in the stores and not inventory

I don't doubt it's real - it's clearly not snowing even remotely just now though.

 

A one day snow event though - typical Rockstar, they can't even do the silly things, well, right.

 

How many of us won't be anywhere near their consoles at Xmas....

 

Honestly, I want to be the R* Head of Creative Ideas....he's getting paid hundreds of thousands dollars/pounds, for doing the piss poorest job I've ever seen in the software industry.

Yeah, because GTAV got terrible reviews and hardly sold a unit...oh wait....the opposite is true, it's one of the most critically-acclaimed, biggest, fastest selling games ever.

Could you refer yourself a couple pages back when they talk about the last time it snowed in L.A? How often have there been tank shenanigans? Can you buy an RPG in your local gunstore? How easy is it to break into LAX?

He's not acting. He's just a bit special Coz obviously this game should be super realistic. I mean I've literally killed my character a thousand times, but he keeps coming back it's like a bad dream really, ive tried to end it but it justs keeps repeating. And don't get me started on the weather, it's like 50°C and even though I'm running around like a maniac, my guy hasn't broken a sweat once. Not once dude!

Wonder if there is a way to trick the game into thinking it's December 24th/25th like by changing the time on the console but remaining offline. Then check out Single Player mode to see if the snow is there.

Ya, this is interesting. I was doing Route 68 the other night and it was raining/nighttime... a giant bolt of lightning crashes across the screen. Totally took me by surprise how awesome it was.. totally screwed with my display contrast for a second or two.

It's up to the creator of the game to decide what they want to do with it. What they SHOULD do is completely irrelevant unless you're looking at from a sales standpoint, which is not the case.
