OysterBarron Posted March 13, 2014 Share Posted March 13, 2014 It was pretty strange before I hit record I was phasing in and out of consciousness about 3 or 4 times when I alt tabbed I was standing. I wasn't sure what the hell was going on span round a bit and the screen went black again so took me a while to see where I was getting hit from after the fourth time managed to get the shot in and f added to black again is this the end I thought thankfully I got back up! There was quite a few of us on this evening and teos did join us aswell as moonshield fullmetal and creeping but we didn't manadge to all meet up this evening unfortunately! That's where me Daz fullmetal and creeping went after you fell down again. Yeah I heard how rare that was, but I didn't think it would add protection, as I mentioned before the helmet doesn't. I would have probably swapped my vest for it just to look cool. MY FIRST KILL ALERT! So yeah, story was I logged onto the server, only 4 people on, made my way up to the airbase, all doors were shut. went into the first building and before I went in I thought "hmm may as well aim my weapon just encase, as I always shut doors behind me, may as well be safe". sh*t MY PANTS SO HARD, a dude must have only just gone in there as he was coming back to the stairs from the first room, looked at me like "DAFUK?" I unloaded 43 rounds of 5.56 from my M4 into him, I took two .357 magnum rounds at least. He destroyed my two ammo boxes, but I managed to survive, and looted him found a pistol mag but it was damaged and can't be used anymore which sucks, but I found a pristine one upstairs in the building, as well as I stole his magnum and speed loader. Used bandages, ate food and got back up to full health. Scared the f*ck out of me. He destroyed my tac vest but I managed to find another, and a new green backpack. So I was fumbling like a crazy person shaking as I rushed to put my stuff in the new backpack. So in the end I survived. Later on, I managed to meet up with TEoS in laggytown. I was chatting to a house mate, and he told me in its current state the game isn't great, albeit packed with potential. However you guys seem to be having a pretty smashing time with it. Was looting there with Creep until a guy who looked 100% like Creep charged me with an axe (I just gave him a ballistic helmet and sh*t). But whatever was f*cked up, died. LUCKILY the server resetted just then and when I reconnected it saved my character just a little bit before that (when I was alive). Tho, my M4 was gone. But I was on the airfield, that was just reset. So time to loot (and so I did). Found a new M4 and swapped some parts (tho most of them are damaged). Got the Magpul MOE handguard, atlas bipod and a AIMPOINT Red Dot Sight. Also hardest decision ever... decided to let go of the Mosin (so I'm only carrying a M4 and a FNX/.357 as firearms are concerned... tho I hold on to some of the ammo. So ok, the other day I finally reached the N W airfield. Looted that place and decided to log out in one of the hangars so next time I could continue looting and who knows, meet up with one of the guys). So anyways here it goes. Decided to log in quickly today, loot the airfield a bit and log off again to check it out another time/play together with 'you guys'. So anyways. After looting a bit, improving my inventory with better PMAGS/more 5.56's rounds I suddenly get disconnected. Awesome, server resets so I can loot the place again! Reconnect and hustle around again. Find some of the most awesome loot ever. Find a f*cking yellow container and more ammo/magazines. Life can be good in a post apocalyptic world (mind you: that moment I have a medkit, 2 300 round ammo boxes and 2 yellow containers!). So yeah it dramatically increases my inventory space even more. Awesome as hell. But the moment I have everything set up again and place the last item in my backpack I hear one muffled (suppressed) shot from a M4 carbine. Obviously I'm startled and I run the f*ck out of the hangar to the backside. Pull out my mic and start shouting that I'm friendly, whoever that was should lower his gun and that I come in peace. Now, heart pumping, totally excited I run towards the firestation because I guess the guy I heard might be there. So I end up in the firestation. No response whatsoever and I close all the doors. Check out the place (neat more ammo!). Then decide to climb the tower of the firestation to have a better look outside. What do I notice instantly? I see this f*cker running on top of the airfield comms building. Again, I start yelling across the mic that I'm near and I'm friendly and wish to trade (still have sh*ttons of ammo I am jack with and such). No response and he didn't even see me. So I go down and open the 'front doors' of the firestation. I'm instantly met with gunfire. Start yelling across the mic again 'what the f*ck man I'm friendly put down your guns we can be civil about this/can trade/whatever'. They're still firing at me. So I'm like, f*ck THAT operator mode engage and start returning fire like a motherf*cker (stupid me tho, my Red Dot Sights was totally f*cked). I see the one from above run back inside and I spot another one in the window. Decide to get closer. Am near the front entrance now of the comms building and yell again. Put down your weapons we can be civil about this I wish to trade. They start yelling 'just go away man just go'. (wrong thing to say to me because I wanted to f*cking loot that place and they were shooting at me so I'm the one who needs to make demands ). So again I say something along the lines of 'Dude what the f*ck, just trade with me and let me loot that place aswell man'. They answered something in the lines of just go away, let us be, "you shot first" (accusing me, wrong thing to do) and because I saw two people and hear one talking for 'us' I get the impression I'm outnumbered. Again I'm totally like f*ck this sh*t, they're going to pay now motherf*ckers. Lean in and peek through the front (and get shot at). Ok, wrong way to go. I decide to go round the back because I figure I might get a better view at them from behind through the windows. Whilst I'm doing this I check my inventory and notice I'm actually hit from a bit before. f*ck, from all this excitement I didn't even notice. f*ck this, let's go H A M bitches. They're still telling me to go away and never come back/leave the airfield to them. Am at the back of the building now and got this perfect view inside. See one f*cker who sits on the 2nd floor of the hallway. Decide to engage him and as soon as I did this the other one pops up looking out of the window. So I engage them both. The one in the back I was 100% sure I got (eventually with everything that happens after I see that I actually had him!). The other, I'm damn sure I got him, duck away. Run up to the building again for cover and I hear him saying to me that I have to go away again, stop this and whatnot. I'm yelling 'f*ck YOU GUYS, all I wanted was to loot and trade like f*cking civil human beings not this nonsense. Why did you have to shoot me in the first place motherf*ckers?'. I lean to the right of the building and this f*cker charges at me like a tusken raider blasting his double barrel. I get hit again, this time I'm completely f*ckED. (bleeding like a pig, totally shellshocked). Go around the other side. (as soon as he shot he got back and I figured back inside). Go around and this f*cking zombie is charging at me. As quick as I can (and is possible) I take out my axe and swing at him. Zed down, only mister dickbreath to deal with. Again I'm coming up to the front door of the comms tower building. This time I figure... I'm f*cked anyways. Still have a fresh mag, 40 rounder in my rifle so I might as well barge in and (hopefully) surprise the f*cker and take him down. So I do this but as expected, the coward was sitting on the steps waiting for me. He blasts me down and I'm unconscious. Instead of instantly giving up this time I'm like... f*ck this man, f*ck this let's wait it out. A bit later I talk to Oyster and he hops on the server and starts up this rescue mission. f*cking A job he did. Those f*ckers got me tho... but I managed to survive (and thanks to Oyster again... grade A work man for putting all that f*cking effort to help me... seriously!). Some of my gear got f*cked up (couple of mags were ruined, some ammo... some food and whatnot. But luckily enough a lot of sh*t was still in my inventory. Also got to loot the other f*cker upstairs. He was holding a FNX pistol with RDS sights and a flashlight. So happy I got him and could take some of his sh*t aswel. Also... message to the rest of you guys and which I'm going to do. Let's be smart about this. Saline bags/blood test kits/Defibs AND batteries are a f*cking must (also the obvious bandages). We all need to carry some of that sh*t because it's life saving and I now notice how much easier things can be if you have something like that on you. Also... helmets, f*ck yeah. I probably might've been KIA'd if it weren't for the helmet. And again, seriously what the f*ck. In what other game do you experience this kind of sh*t? That is what I eyed up in the video hoping that you looted all that sh*t. I have a lot of space really, I am carrying a lot of ammo I probably don't need. I am carrying a lot of .45 ammo I have never shot and a bunch of shotgun ammo and really 15 shots vs 60 5.56 rounds I could be storing, I think the shotty ammo can go. I will ditch the gasmask and the michael jackson mask and possibly the map I have as we don't need the south part of the map. I think it sucks anyway and we don't use it. I really need to start packing light and the essentials because for times like that we need those items. Instead of f*cking joke items like the respirator. I can be the ammo guy, oyster the medic and I think we are set. I might be able to get on today as I had a nice 12 hour sleep last night. I will start collecting some medical items. I don't know if you still need that water bottle or if you just took that dude's canteen, so I can ditch that probably. I need to meet up with Moonshield to give him the cowboy hat. Free up some space. I might swap my items around and probably put my pistols and shotgun in my clothing and move all the boxes into the backpack for more ease of use. Glad you survived the encounter. As was I when I had my run-in. My god my pants turned brown after that one. I wish you weren't a 60 round mag racist, because I have 6 of those f*ckers you need to take off my hands. In other news the server reset earlier just when i came on and have managed to get my first ammo box and another container. The downside is my TKO pants got ruined somehow i think it might have been this bitch of a zombie but it ruined my pile of 357 ammo along with 20 of my mosin ammo 2 of my shotgun auto loaders and 2 of my revolver speedloaders not a happy chappy so in other words i'm on the lookout for some new pants! Anyway, I watched the 2nd vid, didn't look like you checked the dead guys FNX for a battery, I have one in mine currently, sadly I was doing a full on half day hibernation. Jumped on earlier, had a look round town, found 3 mosin nagants in a row, and 2 in the same building. Honestly I didn't even see that fnx in there to the extent about a second after the cutaway I say "man he doesn't even have a pistol" it was only on reviewing the video while editing that I noticed it and thought to myself I wonder? I think the problem was I was properly in a rush to get Fullmetal fixed. In my haste I overlooked that minor detail! I think what the bloke had done was swap fullmetals gun for his own and that's what confused me as fullmetals pistol didn't have anything on it. Trust me bud I'm as gutted as you about the ruined gear even with your stack of 357 I was still pretty low now all I have is 29 rounds in my ammo box and possibly 12 rounds I saved from my speedloaders. But that's still debatable as when I unloaded them they are on pristine but might flip over to ruined when I try and load them. I got the shotgun speedloaders to flip back to pristine by shooting the gun and reloading with them. But on refill of ammo it flipped them back to ruined and wouldn't allow me to load them again I thought I'd managed to glitch the matrix man! But yeah... they should actually make it so that you can use the attachements provided. (like the f*cking bayonets... jeez. I don't want to carry a f*cking axe when I have a bayonet mounted on a gun). Holy f*ck, mouse acceleration fixes. How the mouse works now is utter sh*t and I can't believe it takes them that long. I finally dumped the gasmask as it looked stupid on my guy but didn't have the heart to drop the jacko mask. It looked too funny. I also still have the south part of the map piece but I think I should sling it because we never need it. Threw the spare compass too seeing as you seemed to find loads in that airbase. Man just stop being a git and use the 60 rounders, I need to offload mine somewhere and it annoys me when I can't give people awesome stuff, I had one even tucked away in a box as well. but to be honest I don't find the 40 round mags that often, but it is good to at least have one 60 round mag so you can empty the ammo out and get 60 round stacks of 5.56 for space saving. I know none of it makes sense but I love glitches that help you for the better. I got a pristine water bottle if you still need it but if not I will throw it, I really need Moonshield to take this f*cking hat because I need to slim my sh*t down. Grabbed a random sh*tty medpack, threw away the purification tablets for some more bandages. But figured I may as well carry supplies too. Oh yeah, found a stone the other day when playing with TEoS, I was going to keep it for the lulz but it took up a 1x2 slot in my bag, thought f*ck that sh*t.
