Day off today, so I've spent the afternoon cleaning the kitchen and listening to the remixes of John Carpenter's Lost Themes album. For anyone who doesn't know, legendary film director and composer released an album last year of tracks purposely written for release as opposed to being attached to film scores. Despite his exhausting resume, that was his first full length studio album and he's following it up with another one later on in the month. Shortly after the first one was released, a remix album arrived which offered a fresh twist on some already dark and mysterious tracks. Some of them are barely recognisable.
