Stuck this on in the car whilst on the way to do some grocery shopping, decided to connect my earbuds and carry on listening as I took the trolley for a spin. My trip took about half an hour longer than it would have done but honestly, The Avalanches have such a knack for mixing and creating a mood. Their song choices are absolutely perfect and this is probably the fastest two hours of listening I've had in a long time. It also helps that today is a relatively bright, warm and breezy day. Summer might be on its way out and the world might be on its arse but as long as this was playing, everything felt okay.
