Recently, I've discovered Joe Strummer's cover for "Redemption Song". Honestly, I didn't know Joe sang that song, too. Interestingly, I liked it much more than Bob Marley's. No disrespect, Bob Marley's version is raw and awesome, but Joe's cover is like... more suitable and deeper to me. R.I.P Joe and Bob... the two priceless masters never to be forgotten.

Don't think I've been in this topic before but been listening to Muse's Drones. First first hearing was okay. 2nd good. Just showed my gf the album and I'm in love again.

 

Muse are back at #1 favourite band for me ATM

 

With the exception of 'unsustainable' 2nd law was great. Resistance is up there as my favourite muse album. Now I gotta learn these new songs. Been putting vids on YouTube of me covering some muse songs lately. Time to up my game

 

I tell you, it's good to be excited about something again!
