Actually I made fun of all the users in that thread agreeing with me/liking my posts, previously in that exact thread. Just goes to show you how everyone could set aside previous differences to truly acknowledge how dumb and childish you acted.

 

Also considering there have been some reasonable discussions and points brought up in this thread (obviously not by you) I'd rather hope it wouldn't be ruined or locked, it wouldn't give me any pleasure at all.

You don't make a valid point on how they were nerfed to force cash cards where as I can make one on how payout nerfs had nothing to do with cash cards, also I really doubt the number of cheaters in the total GTAO is in the "millions" as you claim but there's no way either of us can prove each other wrong on that one, so again doesn't really show how it's Rockstar's fault in any way.

 

Also the fact that you're comparing GTA an online RPG to an FPS just goes to show how little you probably know about games in general. Cod is actually well known for having glitching problems in the early stages of every release.

Call of Duty in all of its forms...is nowhere near as complicated as this game engine.

 

So that is part of the reason you don't see as many problems as you do with this game.

 

But just like this game...there are God mode hacks in every COD game.

Well the problem with COD is that each cod is worked on by a different company (either activision/IW - with outside help or Treyarch) so there are usually some big inconsistencies in gameplay and addons/features with each cod that comes out. That's why I really didn't understand why it was ever brought up on GTA forums, as an avid cod/fps player I can safely say that series has way more problems than GTAO has. In both development direction and technical problems.

Any time you start with the term "blame" you're going in the wrong direction. Seriously, who isn't there to blame? Blame has no limitation. In fact, you don't have to be even involved in the game and it could be your fault. Bad parenting, lack of outside activities, you name it!

 

First you have to identify a problem for their to be a solution. Modders don't think they're doing anything wrong and R* thinks they solved the problem. Then there must be no problem, right?

 

Starting a thread about who to blame is more like trolling if you ask me. Regardless, it's a witch hunt. You're not going to place a finger on anyone because in reality there is no one to blame. People are going to test the limits of your game, and exploit it.

Those exploits affect people who play the game legitimately. It is up to R* to make sure that their product is not used in the manner it is being used, therefore,

 

them R* boyz shoulda had this sh*t solid before they let people who do, what they do-do what they do.

You can't blame people for others mistakes.

Not everybody is going to play by the rules.

It's their job to make sure this isn't possible, otherwise there would be no rules and this sh*t wouldn't matter.

Everybody isn't perfect, and people exploit life.

That's why cops are here in the first place.

Police your own product and secure it the best you can, so that at the very least, the exploiting doesn't ruin a majority of the people who play the game's experience.

 

 

Oh, I thought you were defending the "right's" of hackers to exploit the game. My mistake. I don't think the example I used was bad though, and I wasn't targeting you personally.

 

I'm just using that as an example because I'm sick of people saying "Well, people are going to cheat and Rockstar should know this, so it's Rockstar's fault" No....it really isn't by this point.

 

By now, the hackers are ruining every legit gamer's experience in the game. Rockstar can only be blamed for not removing these people fast enough.

 

On the other hand, I believe everyone who is getting everything they want in this game will get sick of it within a few weeks and move on to another game, because they are going to quickly become bored of driving around in tanks and blasting newbs in free roam.

Both. The community is terrible with a lot of people taking advantage of every opportunity to glitch or exploit or whatever, but Rockstar launched multiplayer in a poor state. They should've just labeled it as a beta, found the glitches/exploits/bugs/game issues, and then wiped progress for an official, smoother launch. Instead, now Rockstar is constantly putting out fires, and as soon as one goes out, another one starts.

Yes actually it is the cheaters fault's who ran to youtube to spread the exploit they found, while at the same time it's somewhat Rockstar's fault for letting the problem grow to this magnitude the real blame lies with the people that spread these problems to the community and blew them out of proportion by running to youtube to beg for viewers.

 

And let's be honest most of the cheating youtubers that have come on here in the past to post their videos come off as really annoying d-bags.

Actually they do care. The glitchers fuct up any possibility of a stock market and most likely are the reason for no Heists. I don't have proof of the latter, but adding 2 and 2 usually makes 4.

 

Your and everybody else's mistake is assuming that Rockstar has made enough money so they don't care. Its not they don't care, its that too many asshats have screwed the game with glitches and hacks that its taking ten times as long to weed out the issues.
