I missed all the big payouts, joined too late. I was stuck with Simeon's missions that paid $2k if you're lucky. Most of my early cash was made from robbing stores like a man possesed and selling cars to LS Customs every 48 minutes.

If you aren't blaming Rockstar for this, you need to get your head out of the sand. This is primarily Rockstar's fault for two reasons:

 

1.The game is poorly coded- Every game with multiplayer has people trying to hack it for an advantage. The poor coding just made it easier and more apparent in GTA Online. The game hasn't been out for 3 months yet and it's been torn apart by hackers. I've never seen a major game release exploited this much.

 

2. Rockstar designed the game to push people into buying cash cards and continue to nerf the game to push people towards buying cash cards- They could have easily fixed the replay mission bug by just removing the button, but they purposely went the extra step and halved rewards on subsequent playthroughs. They could have easily adjusted the payouts to criminal records and down the drain alone to fix the massive amount of play those races got. Instead they slashed race payouts across board to a ridiculous degree (granted they at least are trying to fix this). If Rockstar stopped making the game so grind intensive there would be less hacking/glitching.

1.) Soooo what? Its not easy to make a game like GTA V/O. And its not R* fault their fan base is mainly filled with a bunch of self entitled retards with a hard on to break it anyway they want.

Play races, death matches, jobs, survival and other free roam jobs. You gain levels and cash like crazy. Even after the nerf to payouts i was getting $250 000 a night without even trying to farm the same missions over and over.

 

Theres is no grind. People are just stupid.

 

 

I'm calling BS on the $250k claim. I've played a lot and consider $50k a good haul for a few our playing. Can you expand on how you were making that much a night? Not having a go, just interested to know as I think I'll end up with my character deleted since I received $100 million from some random.

this is the age of trolls, modded systems and wannabe hackers. you have people who make their living by posting game glitches on youtube. so yes, this is all rockstars fault for not be prepared or not being able to handle an online game.

tanks win, you lose. i told u why repeatedly, its easy to access, cheap and with a bit a thought, most tank counter dont work apart from another tank. And a decent tank could probably handle 2 tanks against one with a bit of luck and good cover.

Let me also talk about this quick. On didyouknowgaming.com on one of their latest updates, R*'s president said "it's in our DNA to avoid what other companies are doing."

I think it's both, because it's the players who do the glitches that makes rockstar patch all these glitches and delay the heists. But then again it's rockstars fault for patching every single glitch that they find. Heists were supposed to come out on day one.

I feel that R* should have implemented secure ways to stop players from accessing the game files or using third party programs to mod the multiplayer gaming. I also blame the players for wanting to hack their gameplay for a better advantage over the normal, non-hacker players.

I feel like R* had the fault, but you can argue both:

 

R* is blaming hackers for what they started. They squeezed us for money, and every time we got air they squeezed even tighter by cutting payouts. The missions are also boring as sh*t, but we did it for the money. R* squeezed too tight for money and people started to bite their hand.

R* ruined GTA Online by doing this, and hackers responded.

 

People were cheating before payouts were nerfed, and there has never been a reason to buy cash cards money is extremely easy to earn in this game.

 

Stop using those stupid excuses because they are completely wrong.

They literally focused more on cutting legit players than fixing glitches because they knew that's who they could squeeze money out of.

 

You don't work at Rockstar, you aren't a part of their development team, you have no clue literally 0 what they focused on or what they could work on. You have 0 clue how hard one thing is to fix or do compared to the other Cutting payouts is obviously a lot easier of a thing to do as opposed to fixing exploits in their game so it's expected those would be put out first.

They weren't pushing us for money at all, how were they forcing cash cards on us when within the first few patches you could earn 1.2m (the highest amount a cash card can give you IIRC) in just about 5 missions that took well under an hour to do? Does that make any sense to you or sound like they were forcing cash cards.

 

The payouts needed to be nerfed we were practically having everything handed to us, this game was ridiculously easy to earn money in with close to no effort and it is still fairly easy to earn legit money in.

Most people would probably still cheat but yeah heists are taking quite awhile to come out, highly doubt it has anything to do with them buying cash cards though.
