I've always felt that if there are exploits in the game, blame the developer not the people exploiting them. It's their job to keep the game bug free.

That's like saying if I pour my drink on the floor, it's the cleaners fault because it's their job to keep the floor clean.

 

That's not the way the world works, even though it's their job, as a consumer you have your own role to play in keeping the game working.

If you aren't blaming Rockstar for this, you need to get your head out of the sand. This is primarily Rockstar's fault for two reasons:

 

1.The game is poorly coded- Every game with multiplayer has people trying to hack it for an advantage. The poor coding just made it easier and more apparent in GTA Online. The game hasn't been out for 3 months yet and it's been torn apart by hackers. I've never seen a major game release exploited this much.

 

2. Rockstar designed the game to push people into buying cash cards and continue to nerf the game to push people towards buying cash cards- They could have easily fixed the replay mission bug by just removing the button, but they purposely went the extra step and halved rewards on subsequent playthroughs. They could have easily adjusted the payouts to criminal records and down the drain alone to fix the massive amount of play those races got. Instead they slashed race payouts across board to a ridiculous degree (granted they at least are trying to fix this). If Rockstar stopped making the game so grind intensive there would be less hacking/glitching.

I don't get the attraction of having a tank. I got hold of one last night when a griefer quit a session but after about 5 minutes of blowing stuff up I was bored out of my mind!

 

Oh look, a police car, bang! isn't all that exciting when the only ending is almost certainly going to be my characters death.

2. They didn't design the game to push people into buying cash cards, you could earn 1.2m in like what 5 missions (which you could complete in under an hour) early on in the game? Be realistic here instead of naive. This game was way too easy in the early stages and it should have been a lot harder and if it was and wasn't being flooded with cheaters it would be a much more enjoyable game for people.

 

I really wonder if the cheaters here that claim this game is a grindfest were even playing the same game as I was on day 1.

2.) They are not pushing cash cards. Only a self entitled brats who needs it all ASAP would think that. I dare you to play the game. Play races, death matches, jobs, survival and other free roam jobs. You gain levels and cash like crazy. Even after the nerf to payouts i was getting $250 000 a night without even trying to farm the same missions over and over.

 

Theres is no grind. People are just stupid.

rockstar buffd the tank so clearly they want people to use it more + cash card for insurance money if you couldnt afford it. so yeah, clearly the devs want people to do tank battles in the game.

In the early stages of the game if you were high level most missions (and there were a lot) paid out 20-25k and took under 10 minutes to do, some even took 5, after explaining this it should be obvious to you how 250k in a few hours was very easy to accomplish.

Winning races was my bulk. And doing jobs with friends or randoms. And just other random sh*t. It just all adds up.

 

 

For me races paid me the most. A good hour of races would net me $100 000 after the payout nerf. Its even better now.
