It was decided amongst the group of staff, which is how we promote anyone to any position. We don't just pluck people's names from thin air or give them power for stupid reasons. Are you suggesting we were all wrong? I respect you Kirsty but I already know what I said, it wasn't the answer I expected. I've seen fuzzknuckles around and most of his posts aren't what you call 'contributing', it's even filled with insults. Does that really worth a moderating position? Also all of his topics aren't exactly contributing either. And another promotion WBaker, he might be more mature than other new members but he has been around here for only 3 months, really? Lets put it this way, if someone posted a thoughtful and long opinion that you agreed with, but it involved swearing and insults, would you call that contributing? Who would you make the new moderators? Like Kristy said, do you disagree with their decisions of promoting those members to moderators. I don't know Ace but the staff here is very different. They don't make individual decisions. They all are democratic enough to make some right decisions. You may hate some members here but you can never hate the decisions the greater ones make here. That's just it. If you think things are going at the wrong direction here, well then my friend, you need to ignore them. Or you should at least take a break from this forum. Helped me a bit. There are many, many, people across the forums that might fulfill this criteria, but wouldn't make good staff members. That is a conclusion only current staff members can come to. All the choices so far have worked out really well. Also, if they're doing a good job on moderating the site, their contributions to the site shouldn't matter. There have been occasions where we have made ledbys out of people who have actually offered to help out, where previously they may not have been on our radar. I don't know all of them first hand because I only post in a couple of sections, but I don't think you could choose anyone better! On another note, people who volunteer or ask to be moderators make the absolute worst moderators in most circumstances. I AM SORRY ABOUT THE QUALITY OF THE VIDEO, BUT MY WEBCAM IS ABSOLUTELY RUBBISH.
