I don't understand what you mean. Who was doing what under the radar, the continued Cathouse missions that were being passed along or the half dozen other missions that were never (and still aren't) disabled?

 

 

All the escort missions that were passed along since lobbies were few and far between. Using them was under-the-radar, but since R* hasn't hotfixed this new exploit, they're probably going to do a purge of most who used it.

 

I felt comfortable using Holed-Up, as so did others but fools let the lobbies die.

 

Ah, I see what you meant now. I still find it to be a silly proposition to punish players who capitalized on the company's own error - blaming others for taking advantage of a situation that Rockstar themselves facilitated- but I guess we'll see what happens.

 

By playing a mission that I didn't even have to exploit- again, the RP continued to roll in my "Welcoming Party" attempt despite the guy actually getting out of my car and running away- I gained less than twenty levels on a character that's already hundreds of hours of honest work into the game. If they seek me out just to ban me then all I can say is that I'm disappointed with the way their discipline is prioritized.

The Baggage Hander HAS been removed from the Job List those who have the job open now are STILL able to play it.

 

I still have it open but I am closed at the moment I will reopen when this person leaves

This is anectodal but none of the missions mentioned in this thread have ever appeared in the voting screen for me (even before all of this recent activity).

It's not silly...

 

Real life example? You hear about people who have a bank error in their favor. Now you would be a poor fool to think that you would be able to keep the cash or avoid prosecution if you spent any of the cash. Yet, it isn't your fault that the bank glitches and gave you extra money in your account.

 

Here's the thing. When coming across glitches like these, things you know are glitches, you're supposed to report it so they can fix it, not take advantage of it. This is why no one has a leg to stand on when they say they shouldn't be responsible for taking advantage of an exploit or glitch.

 

Doesn't matter if it's the real world or virtual world, being deceitful and taking advantage should have repercussions.

 

Oh and to those that say they are just stress testing a game, that excuse only works if you then report your findings to Rock star.

Because anyone over age of two, knows that lying has consequences. You speak of Anarchy which like all Utopian ideals, is a pipe dream. Especially within the framework of a society. Whether that society is real or in this case, virtual.

 

In the real world we have God if you're religious and the law if you're not, as a barometer for right and wrong. In this virtual world, Rockstar is God and/or The Law and thus you are answerable to them.

To be frank this is rockstars fault, if they properly beta tested online before it's release we probably wouldn't be having as many exploitable glitches as we do now.
