1.08 PATCH NOTES:

• Fixes an issue where GTA Online players could reach North Yankton.

I think they fixed the glitch because :

Either A = They are releasing a North Yankton DLC

or B = They just hate their players

 

If it's not intended to be in the game, they have to fix it whether you enjoy exploiting it or not. They don't give a f*ck about our opinion about North Yanktown, if it's not supposed to be there it has to be fixed. That's how it works.

Plus they could just leave it there.. Like Liberty City in GTA : SA

My point isn't about whether it's bad or not, it's just that if it's not intended to be in the game as a feature, it has to be fixed, to its planned state. Sure it can be fun to exploit NY and what not, but it's a developer's duty to fix what wasn't intended to be in the game. Removing the vehicles was indeed also a wise decision.

Watch, 1.08 will patch it out as it's a 'sp mission area' by their logic

 

As for the no damage argument. A Ratloader did no damage to anyone. They removed it. NY did no damage, removed it.

End of the day it's R*'s game and R*'s rules, don't like it then don't play, you don't have any other choice with GTAO

I personally think this is bull sh*t! And not because I've been murdered by people in tanks. That has yet to happen to me, thankfully. But I have joined lobby's where people and even in once instance a Crew were doing nothing but deliberately driving around in tanks blowing up other players. So how is it fair to offer the tank drivers for more protection from getting a "Bad Sport" reputation. Especially if that is ALL that they're doing?

 

So give people who want to do nothing more then just play the game and have fun, like me. Who acidentally blow up someone's personal vehicle a "Bad Sport" rep, when they're constantly getting run over by another player and only trying to defend themselves. But some jagoff(s) are in Tank(s), pretty much indestructible, deliberately going around blowing people up and give them more freedom to do so? Riiiiiiiiight.

 

Yet another perfect example of R* being a complete and total f*ck up!

 

GTA Online is NOTHING like I had envisioned, when I wished there was a GTA Multiplayer Universe way back with GTA Vice City.

In the past I used to have fantasies that Rockstar would spoof Halo and Call of Duty capture the flag thing with a "Capture the fagg"-mode in an Call of Duty parody.

 

But instead of spoofing it, they created one themselves.

I recently joined capture that was the sandy shores one, going from both sides of the alamo, our team did great, got 2/3 captures, but then when time ran out we didnt win, nor did we lose, both teams were just standing around while there was no objective given to us, anyone else had this issue of it just giving out and not even giving the next objective?

It looks like the game has been updated. In a full lobby of Criminal Records, the winner only got 100 RP.

 

This is why I cheat.

Cheating doesn't give you RP.

 

i wouldn't be so sure of that. ever wondered how anyone could get to be level1000? or even level 500? i was offerred by someone to gain some levels but refused. they'd had gone up 100 levels. can't remember their name but it was horribly disappointing to see that they were level 250 instead of 150 a few hours later & when i asked how come 100 levels when they said they just wanted to get to level 200, they didn't reply.

kinda tells me, "what's the point in playing? if i play 'fair' i'll get creamed by people who can easily just go from level 1 to level 300 overnight" but i've been trudging away to reach level 108 since september [obv not playing GTAO every night].

 

seems way too many bugs in this game. i kinda play on a friends only server these days after a level 1000 player creamed me at GTA race and , even tho i destroyed his car a few times? it didn't actually 'score' so he had destroyed me [4 deaths to zero]. i know it shouldn't but it's quite humiliating.
