I doubt they are banning all the giftees out there as it would be a terrible mistake on their part. I think the scare is due to a large amount of miscommunication on this matter. The banning wave is definitely for the modders giving out the money and those who claim to have been banned for being gifted money were very likely getting banned for getting caught using other in game exploits. When i say in game exploits i don't mean the LSC glitches (unless they glitched an excessive amount of money), i mean the game play glitches like wall breaches. Saw ALOT of dumbasses using wallbreachs over the past month and now they are getting what coming to em.

Mine is still in its wrapper. Heard the parkour got nerfed compared to the previous one and you can't hang/climb everywhere anymore...which sucks since it's Batman, and the Batman pretty much does whatever the f*ck he wants.

Just logged on and its official. Rockstar deleted one of my 2 characters and the 10 cars I bought. Legitimately. It was the higher ranked one. I got zero dollars and have no idea how long this ban lasts...How can one tell?

The sad part is that you can't even get rid of the money. I just made a character to dump money into and delete the character and was given another 100m before I could be given the first mission from Simeon....there's no way to tell who the person was that gave it to me either because your not far enough along in the tut for it to tell you about atm's and the internet...well if I get banned for something I can't control then f*ck em.

Good luck....I've got to buy 300 adders to get my money down. I've been fully modding cars and just giving them away and it's not making a dent. Then consider the fact that any public lobby you go into you can be gifted again or have a large bounty put on you....situations getting kinda ill yo.

Just got the violation email as well. This is BS. I didn't hack or do the LSC glitch, but now b/c of a couple ppl randomly giving me money I didn't ask for and going after 2 bounties that each had 1 billion on them that I wasn't aware of, I'm getting punished. Way to go Rockstar, this is just fantastic.

They can take the money, whatever. But if they reset my 157 rank only character I might just have to walk away from GTAO. Which would suck b/c I actually enjoy playing online

 

they wont reset your level. You just get to play with other cheaters. You knew after you collected the bounties they were hacked. Instead of reporting it you decided to not say anything hoping to keep your cheated goods.

Obviously I knew they were after the fact but I don't think it should be a make or break thing for me to report them or not that decides MY fate when I never asked for all that money to begin with. I shouldn't have to play police b/c of other ppl's actions. It their fault, not mine. All that money they have R* should be able to track who gave it away instead of being cheap and lazy and simply punishing the victims just b/c it's easier that way. I'm amazed you even tried to flip this back on me, welp, you tried
