Cheaters Pool Discussion: mass bans are coming

last night some guy kept gifting me money. wasn't paying attention and by the time I go to bank what I stole from an armored truck I had almost $400 million on me.

 

if rockstar bans me because some other dude gave me some sh*t, I really wouldn't care less at this point. aside from playing with friends there is nothing left to do in this game. online is just a watered down single player game that is full of exploits. next time you spend 6 years developing a game you should spend at least 6 months testing the game...instead of blaming the players for such half assed coding.

So i have seen my own proof of a cheaters pool. a friend of mine killed me and got a big bounty and split it. apparently he got hit as a cheater and i tried joining him in a game about an hour later and got this message on my xbox. and yes i know it's grainy but ti's damn near impossible to get a clean pic of that.

R* have a big problem - Most of the LSC Glitchers just wanted to by a cool car with a silly ass paint job, Buy the guns and just have fun in free roam.

 

They will be the ones that will pay for the next city dlc or What ever comes next.

 

R* don't want to ban people who are going to be using real money to pay for the dlc so are not going to go around banning all the people who play the game the most.

 

Hackers are a different story as they change the game itself.

 

In Game cash does not mean anything, R* gave us all 500k for nothing.

 

Say I glitch 100k from a car sale. I will spend it on the same car mods as I would if I spent 40 minutes playing Coverted. If you actually look at the game - there is not much to buy. Plus most are a 1x purchase.

 

Once you have apartment, all guns, a few of the cars you have to buy, and some clothes, then your done. Most of the best cars for each race class are free from the street. You only need to buy a super, sports, classic class car. Then the mods are a 1x purchase as well. (you don't need the cars if you don't like racing)

Most helicopters and planes spawn so are free. Even the army vehicles are free (tank a bit harder to get)

 

Ammo is the only on going expense. There is nothing else to spend your money on anyway.

 

R* will make money from DLC and NOT from in game cash.

 

R* have to solve the hackers problem because the any new dlc locations will just get hacked as well.

 

God help them when it comes out on PC. Within the first hour I will be flying a pink UFO and look like spider-man.

Some people who were gifted money were also moved to bad sport/cheater for other things they did and incorrectly assumed it was because of the gifted money. f*ck R* and their business model. Some assholes that aren't even gamers worrying about not hitting the cash card quotas. R* did a sh*t job of testing the game, probably hired dipsh*ts to save money. And so they launched a game full of glitches. People took advantage of the glitches and now there is so much money in the game people are gifting billions. How is that the fault of the glitchers, the gifters, or the giftees? Not one gamer playing GTA5 give a single solitary sh*t if Cockstar is falling short of projected sale of cash cards. Banning or even resetting people would be a very stupid thing to do, the backlash would cost R* more in the long run.

Why is there a glitch exploit in the game in the 1st place?

 

 

Because the game is incredibly difficult to code and they weren't able to check to ensure that you couldn't do something like:

1. Walk next to the door of LSC
2. Have your friend fly directly overhead in a Buzzard
3. go to the Store
4. Exit Store at same time your friend in the Buzzard lands on top of you
5. Have your friend get out of Buzzard and run around it 4 times
6. When you respawn, take the Buzzard, but not before your friend finishes his laps
7. Fly the Buzzard straight up
8. Your friend should grab a car off the street
9. Now have him go into LSC
10. Go to your Store
11. Exit out
12. Your friend now has $20K

 

Or whatever complete random sh*t people go extremely out of their way to find. They don't even try to play the game. ALL they do is try to break it, so they can put up a Youtube video and hopefully get a bunch of losers to watch. They don't care at all about the game or gameplay, just finding glitches and exploiting them like some sort of idiotic Robin Hood. I say idiotic because they're NOT stealing from the rich and giving to the poor. They're just breaking the mechanics of a game that would be perfectly fine if they just didn't do any of that sh*t to begin with.

I agree, and I believe unfortunately for those that did the LSC glitch, claiming those huge bounties put you on the radar...which is why they are classing you a cheater, not cause of the gift but because of the exploit.

True but, in R* eyes, it's much easier (and cheaper) to let us beta test it for them. Normal process would dictate that all of these issues/bugs/glitches be documented so that they won't become a recurring issue for any future releases. Whenever GTA VI comes out, guarantee you the same crap will be present in that game as well. Incompetence + too many bong hits = R* developers.

Just got the violation email as well. This is BS. I didn't hack or do the LSC glitch, but now b/c of a couple ppl randomly giving me money I didn't ask for and going after 2 bounties that each had 1 billion on them that I wasn't aware of, I'm getting punished. Way to go Rockstar, this is just fantastic.

 

They can take the money, whatever. But if they reset my 157 rank only character I might just have to walk away from GTAO. Which would suck b/c I actually enjoy playing online

they wont reset your level. You just get to play with other cheaters. You knew after you collected the bounties they were hacked. Instead of reporting it you decided to not say anything hoping to keep your cheated goods.

The banning wave is definitely for the modders giving out the money and those who claim to have been banned for being gifted money were very likely getting banned for getting caught using other in game exploits. When i say in game exploits i don't mean the LSC glitches (unless they glitched an excessive amount of money), i mean the game play glitches like wall breaches. I played a dm with someone a week ago and ended up with 3.1b. Then last night I was on a roof sniping and kept getting messages that I was carrying too much cash. Ends up I was given another 500m by some random in 5 or 6 installments over a 3 minute period.

 

Of the money I have, I have spent between my to characters a total of 40m. Between them I have earned about 30m from jobs and car sales. One character is lvl 88 and the other is lvl 100. I have also bought 10.2m in cash cards before being "gifted" the money. (yes I know that's $200 real dollars. It's my money to spend how I want)

 

I never did the car glitch or any other money making glitch and I ranked up by doing missions. Yes, I used the wall glitch once or twice to have fun blowing up cops and I did the buy cargo bob glitch. That's about the worst of it though.

 

If I get banned for the "gifted" money, I think I'm going to be done with the game, but we'll see. I may just log on and have my guy walk in circles in his apartment while I'm at work. I know that won't solve anything but it will be my little protest....lol
