Cheaters Pool Discussion: mass bans are coming

I find the whole banning thing just hard to believe to be honest. Even if I was banned myself I would live in denial and refuse to believe it. Talk about shutting the stable door after the horse has bolted

To put it all in perspective: i played this game two weeks in a row when on 'holiday'. Got to 155, all legit, mostly by races. Made a Total of about 6 million, got 400k in the bank right now. The other 5 mill is sitting in my garage with awesome fully modded cars.. WORKED for it. Makes me proud. TRU FAN

 

I made 15million legit, all the supercars, a tank, a shamal, and two choppers. Rank 207.

 

Then last friday I got gifted 109million. I never asked for it and I've never glitched. I since got another billion.

 

If they ban me or reset my character then they can stick their game.

For perspective, there are people in the Cheaters lobby that are like level 800+ and have $5 Billion. I understand the need to hammer them. But again, suspending people for nearly a year based on collecting a bounty that some random person set or playing a Challenge Rockstar allowed users to create?!? Silliness.

LOL im curious to see which one of my friends gets banned/reset first i know atleast 25 of my friends did the car glitch and about 10 were given 1 billion dollar stimulus

But that's assuming all the stolen money, sorry, gifted money, was spent first. I bet Rockstar has a normal "coupon" attitude, and we all spent our legit $$ first. If they take account money away, I bet it's an even slice at a given point, say 10 million or something, like a "cap", over all players.

Nah there will be less lobbies of legit players. But even if there were only a thousand legit players playing at a given time that still a lot of full lobbies. I would prefer to play in a lobby of 9 other legit players than a full lobby of a few legit and 10 cheaters. Less children and trolls in the legit lobbies

how about they just fix all the glitches, then open up the 3rd character slot for its own servers with everyone starting at lv1/$0. No shared money from characters 1 and 2.Could that work?

last night some guy kept gifting me money. wasn't paying attention and by the time I go to bank what I stole from an armored truck I had almost $400 million on me.

 

if rockstar bans me because some other dude gave me some sh*t, I really wouldn't care less at this point. aside from playing with friends there is nothing left to do in this game. online is just a watered down single player game that is full of exploits. next time you spend 6 years developing a game you should spend at least 6 months testing the game...instead of blaming the players for such half assed coding.

If you have a 2nd character just take you cash out of your account and unload on that.

 

Save a spare 5-7 million on your 1st character and bank it. "R" might let us keep a few million.

Read and pay attention. No one has been moved to cheaters/bad sport pool or otherwise been penalized for being gifted money. Some people who were gifted money were also moved to bad sport/cheater for other things they did and incorrectly assumed it was because of the gifted money. The mass bans they are talking about are for the giftERS not the giftEES.
