Mr.Nedich
This episode was really powerful if not the most powerful to date. Between Mike giving a powerful delivery on moral grey areas and Jimmy unraveling dark truths, this was a really well done episode and I can't wait until the season finale. Ziggy455
I got into Breaking Bad way back around 2010. I remembered watching the first whole season in a day.The whole time, I never really was glued to the whole story but it worked over time. With Better Call Saul, I've loved it from the get-go, and as an avid TV watcher (you name any movie, or TV show and I can spew forth a river of trivia -of which I'm not particularly proud of- like a low-rent Wikipedia) I've loved every episode so far, and have not once gotten bored. In Pimento when I heard Steven Ogg's voice and then saw him, I screamed out. Ogg is such an underrated actor. I hope to God he appears again, I wish he would. That scene was one of the funniest ones in the series and just goes to prove how brilliant Mike is as a character. A lot of my friends are giving me some bullsh*t lately about how it's no Breaking Bad. I find this tedious, as Gilligan is not trying to recreate Breaking Bad, and as a spinoff it's a wonderful, funny, at times, dark prequel. Odendirk is a little tame but always funny and it'll be fun to see him develop. Something I'd love to see, but which I'm sure won't happen, is Saul/Jimmy after Breaking Bad, somehow finding a way to reinvigorate himself as a lawyer, perhaps in New Mexico, perhaps in some other way. I know it's a stretch of creative imagination, but it's what I'd love to see nonetheless. EDIT: Can't believe they got Michael Mando (Vaas of Far Cry 3) to play Nacho Vargo. Vanilla Shake
This is hands down the best show on television right now. Another amazing episode last night. If this doesn't last for at least 5 seasons like Breaking Bad, it'll be a real travesty because honestly, I think this is just as good, if not better. ryanhunter_rfc
I 100% believe Ogg will be back because his credits were at the start with the main returning characters. Whereas the big guy who ran away is at the end and he doesn't have a name just "man mountain". So why would Stevens be at the start and not the end if he is never to be seen again? Zoobz
Such a great episode. The parking lot scene with Mike and Steven Ogg was perfect. Ogg was wearing what looked like Heist gear. And then when that dude with the glasses came out, lol. I thought it was Lester, it might as have been he had the same characteristics. Then it got super serious at the end. Feeling bad for Jimmy now.
TropicThunder
An amazing episode, that ending was intense. Mike's segment was also really interesting, I liked his speech about how criminals aren't the only bad guys. Also, Steven Ogg was great and I seriously hope he makes an appearence in later episodes. Jonesizzle
The big dude in the garage was in BB as well. I remember Jesse getting scared of him in the plaza (he was paranoid and thought Walt hired to kill hin) when he was working for Hank, trying to set Walt up. You might as well call Steven Ogg's character Trevor. With his popularity with GTA and the fanbase it drags, I think this was a well thought out publicity stunt to bring fans to the show(or maybe the creators/producers are fans of the game). Didn't think it was a special performance, but I won't complain if he returns. Regardless, wonderful episode. After next weekend, there won't be TWD/BCS Sunday-Monday tandem for awhile. CJ killed Ryder
Ironicly Trevor got a Johnny-treatment in this episode: being humiliated after appearing some minutes to show how badass Mike is. Was it written by a Lost and Damned-fan? No, just joking. This episode is great, also the epic Chuck betrayal scene Edited April 1, 2015 by CJ killed Ryder
Craig Kostelecky
You might as well call Steven Ogg's character Trevor. In the script they called him Sobchak (after John Goodman's character in The Big Lebowski)

Seeing Ogg in that parking garage, squabbling with Mike over the contents of his sandwich, and Lester emerging from the minivan, got me more hyped for V PC than anything could ever have. Good PR for both parties. Gouveia

Good PR for both parties. The true reason for the delay is revealed itself - waiting for the publicity! Fantastic episode, one of the best of the series so far. Didn't expect Chuck to betray Jimmy like that, so f*cked up. THE NEXT PARAGRAPH IS PURELY SPECULATION AND IS BY NO MEANS WHAT WILL HAPPEN I want to see Jimmy go off and disassociate himself from the McGill name and choose to be called Saul Goodman. I hope he uses the $20k payoff to get the office. Still don't know how he comes involved with "Criminal" law though. I imagine it will have something to do with Nacho since Mike has dealings with him now. Kippers, mr quick and Xerukal

SimsDaniel916
This episode was a simple setup for next season which is the creation of the Saul Goodman that we know from the Breaking Bad Series. I personally didn't find it to be all the great especially as its on the heels of last weeks fantastic episode. mr quick and TheGodDamnMaster
TheGodDamnMaster
Yeah, I also felt like this episode wasn't as good as last week's. If I didn't know any better, I would have though that was just another episode and not the season finale. I will say that I found the scamming Jimmy pulled with his old buddy decently amusing though. mr quick 1 Intel Core i9-9900k | Seasonic FOCUS Plus 750W | 32GB Corsair Vengeance LPX 2666MHzMSI GeForce RTX2070 | WD Blue 1TB HDD | Samsung 950 PRO M.2 512GBAntec Nine Hundred Black Steel ATX Mid Tower | MSI MPG Z390 Gaming Pro Carbon AC

GroundZero
Somewhat disappointed by the season finale, as others said, it being just "meh" compared to the previous one. It's gonna be interesting to see how the next season will start. We gotta wait a whole year for Season 2 though, which sucks...
TJGM
The only thing that bugged me was how Marko died. He took a heart attack, was unconscious, woke up, talked and then finally died. I wouldn't have minded it as much if he just took a heart attack and that was the end of it. But him waking up only to tell Jimmy the past week was "the best week of his life" was kind of annoying. (yes, I'm aware that the only reason why Jimmy declined that job offer was because of what Marko said before he died, but they could've done it in a much better way than him waking up only to say that) Other than that minor complaint on the finale, I thought this was a brilliant start to the show and I'm really looking forward to Season 2. uncut751
i didnt quite understand something... did saul take a sh*t in chucks white bmw? or was it someone elses... he said his name was "chek" or "chad" or something, like he was altering his name to tell a story. probably a dumb question
Doc Rikowski
It was someone else that owed him money and had two kids, in the car. Chuck saved him from the sex offender accusation. CrysisAverted, uncut751 and Jonesizzle
Zoobz
TIL what a Chicago sunroof is. The finale was decent, but obviously not as good as last week. Thought the montage of them hustling was cool, seeing Slipping Jimmy and Marco having a good time. Also it was clever that they added in the scene to correspond with this Breaking Bad dialogue, got the image from Imgur: Now the waiting game for Season 2. darthYENIK
I caught that Costner thing, and loved it. Marco was Jimmy's only real friend, other than Kim. And I don't think that will last with how it ended. I loved the last scene, where you can see Jimmy turn to Saul. He was no longer going to let his conscience get in the way of his success, a major trait Saul is known for. Chuck, despite Jimmy doing good by his elderly clients, never had faith in him to be an honest lawyer, and Jimmy who thinks the world of Chuck and his opinion, is giving in to that. That is why Chuck is really the big asshole. All he had to do was hire Jimmy, and Saul Goodman never would've existed. But because of his own pride, Chuck gave him that extra push. I see next season, Saul's major motivation being to be the ambulance chasing "Slipping Jimmy" that Chuck believes him to be, and shoving that in Chuck's face. It wasn't a spectacular finale or anything, but it did tons for the development of Saul's character. Jonesizzle
Jonesizzle
Exactly, Darth. For those who have watched Breaking Bad, we should definitely see the transition into Saul Goodman season 2. It's funny how Hamlin was painted to be the big 'ol douche bag, but in the end he was just taking orders from Chuck. darthYENIK
I had a hunch that Hamlin wasn't just a two dimensional dickhead. The writers are too good to have that. So I had a hunch he had some other motive. Something that made sense. Abel., Vanilla Shake and krashr

Vanilla Shake
Anyone notice what Mike said on the phone near the end? "Have you done business with him before? ...okay, I'll be there." Gus? And I personally thought this was a great finale (especially the very last scene), seeing as it's still only the first season. I'm sure later finales will probably be a lot heavier like last week's episode. Really sucks that we've gotta wait almost an entire year to see what happens next though. krashr
it would be interesting if it was him. i thought it was a decent finale too, the way the season was paced from the start i find a lot of substance is in the dialogue and subtleties and as darth said there was a lot of character development.. which kind of makes the action even better when it does happen. it is definitely it's own show with it's own style, by the time it wraps up it could probably stand alone from breaking bad or be enjoyed with it. they're very similar and very different at the same time, it's weird, good weird. looking forward to next season i am a cock gobbler and i love to gobble cocks
Vanilla Shake
That's one of the aspects I'm really enjoying about this show so far, how it's really just its own entity with strands of Breaking Bad's DNA strewn about. It can just as easily be enjoyed without having seen the other series first. TC718 / <629 / CF5
