What has been the most disappointing part of GTA:5 / GTA:O for you?

 

Lets try to keep this clean and not turn this into a bash thread that gets locked

 

i'll start first.. THE MUSIC, ( need to say more?)

kinda makes me envy the xbox... only for that reason

A lot of the music is pretty bad IMO. Saints Row is better in that regard.

1.) Ambient music in Jobs/Missions that cant be turn off independently of the other sound options.

 

2.) 90% of the players are jerks.

 

3.) 10% of the players think I'm a jerk.

i actually just got my tank recently (about time) spent 10 minutes owning the lobby , got bored and gave it to a friend to play with... it was GODMODE

The grind element, this game doesn't need it to be fun.

SP was too easy, the only missions I had to repeat were father son and a couple of flight school ones.

Hell I even won all of the street races in the pink Bentley that I stole off Poppy.

 

In MP maybe I'm splitting hairs, but am I alone in wishing that they didn't make the game quite so beautifully detailed but in return improved the gameplay? Like more NPC's more than 16 players in a lobby etc

GTA 5 - Though I enjoyed playing it for what it was, it felt too short, too easy and would have been soooo much better had the number of heists been at least doubled. Seriously, I am still really irritated and disappointed that R* made such a pre-launch fuss over heists and to this day the SP heists are very few and mediocre .... and still completely non-existant in gtao.

I don't know why. Maybe it's because ''Add story here'' or maybe because they are ''Add insult here'' or maybe because they are always whining like ''Add exemple here''.

 

The game is amazing besides that. Not all players are bad too.

Missions. I'm okay with grinding but I would've assumed that leveling up would get you better paying missions. I'm Level 141 and still getting crap from Lamar/Gerald/Simeon. And the missions I get from Lester/Martin are the same ones over and over again. With all the bugs/glitching/hacking, I can live with all that but if the missions were better (even if we had heists) then I think I'd be a lot happier with the game overall. It just seems that everything is subpar with the online aspect of this game.

The grind to level up RP.

 

I remember the first night GTA Online went live (Oct. 1st). I jumped in one of the missions where you were paired up with 3 other people on your team and had to race against 2-3 other teams to steal drugs and then deliver them somewhere. That was so wild and crazy. I thought after that 1st night that this may be the greatest online experience ever--and I'm a big first-person shooter gamer.

 

Unfortunately, no one does those missions anymore, heists are nowhere in sight, and the grind to level up is a killer.

That's really about it... the second one I can excuse being on 7 year old consoles with 10 year old hardware. Honestly I give them praise for as good as it looks... SP is just mind blowing what they could still do with antique hardware... Really goes to show you how much of a difference API's / hardware level access can have.

 

Makes me even more excited to the future of Mantle... The future is so cloudy though with SteamOS, Mantle, and the new x86 consoles...

The community. All these missions and activities and yet the community for the most part only goes around in free roam griefing and then they whine and complain that its boring and act as though heists will be the best thing of all time and it'll cause world peace.
