how rare are hackers?

I keep seeing everyone talking about hackers here, with their invincibility or huge bounties etc, but I don't think I've ever seen someone I couldn't kill, or large bounties and I'm on PS3

 

is it just a coincidence of who I'm matched with? it'd be nice to catch a huge bounty

It could be the case of the matchmaking or most of them spend time in Solo and invite only sessions.

 

I've never come across one myself without requesting a money lobby or anything.

 

TBH i've never came across a rank 1000 person. Only people i see are 400 and lower.

Depends which console you're on. PS3 has more hacks, which may make it seem like it has more hackers.

I'm surprised with the statistics, everywhere I go on these forums a lot of people complain about getting lots of cash or seeing hackers, thought I was missing out, or my matchmaking was just very odd

Played with a level 1000 hacker yesterday. He wasn't giving money but he was invincible and killing everyone in the lobby. Fast run and no reload SUCKS.

Me and one of my crew members both had a bounty of $2.1 billion placed on our heads on friday night by some random guy who we couldn't kill in a public lobby on the PS3. We both left the lobby and went into a private lobby and promptly killed each other to claim the bounty. I'm now rich and been on some mad spending spree's

Yep but hardley any. I had 100 messages today because people wanted me to host money lobbies or help get their mod to work and etc. I looked at where I learned how to do it (A youtube video I came across when I typed "gta 5 online rp 1.07" on youtube") and almost no one on there knows how to do it and the ones that do are on PS3 hardley any on xbox. I think I'm one of the few of many. I think it makes up for the people who kept hearing it happen on PS3 and not on xbox.

There are many for sure. 1 month ago I received 16 million from one of them and I spent some and continue to play while 16 million is not that huge and can spend easily in the game.

 

I am rank 70 and newly bought the rino tank, and I went out to the streets I did not kill anybody until they shoot me and my friend or throw us bombs, I was just honking to have fun. But a guy came and start to send me stickies, then I bombed him with a tank and nothing happened he just continue to throw me stickies

 

Then the same guy sent to my friend 654 million and the his rank was 1000.

 

I am really wondering now how Rockstar stop all these and make the game playable again??? Because like this there is no sense to make missions, races, survivals etc...

Haha, yeah. Me? I'm not greedy. I have billions left over from giving money to people. My social club money stats are all messed up. I litterly changed my thing so it makes me spend 50 million to phone a friend because I don't want billions on my account but I give people a minimum of 50 million (I think?) and they keep coming back even though they've came back so many times they almost have billions and billions.

There are more hackers on ps3 than xbox because ps3 accounts are free. Iv seen about ten hackers upto now there was one on lastnight.

The first time I was given money I asked for it in the forums. I was given 1.9bil. The second time was by random in a lobby and then I collected like 100mil bounty the other night. I've been in quite a few hacker lobbies but since I've already been in one I think I keep getting invited to new hacker lobbies. Most likely why I see them more often.

I don't think the hackers themselves are as common as you think.

 

I mean let's say you join a 16 player game 5 times in a row and every time theres a hacker in it. Thats 5/80 people who were hackers. In the long run they're not as common as you think its just the amount of times you will end up in a different session is increasing the chances of you running into one.

Last night I met a girl who was trying to get rid of her billions, she gave me a fully modded dominator. I was grateful. Then about an hour later I ran into a guy giving out billion dollar bounties... I was like, "hey! I'll take one of those!" but he gave me 50 million cash instead. No complaints here. (Xbox btw)

Well when you say it like that yeah, there aren't too many hackers, its way unproportionate to the total playerbase but say one hacker gives out billions to 15 people and does that like 20 times in different servers before he signs off, that is 300 people who got modded money, now lets say he does it again the next day, that is 600 people, and so on...
