It does not even look like a real car, it looks more like some futuristic space ship or sum sh*t like that. Aesthetic Posted December 16, 2013 Share Posted December 16, 2013 (edited) It's not really meant to be stylish. its real life counterpart, the Ferrari Enzo is based of an F1 car and the Enzo doesn't really look too great. But I think R* really smoothed it out and made it look a bit prettier. Would've been nice if they had based it off the Ferrari F50, now that things a machine! And like the Vecca it has too much wheel spin when driving away. Still, the cheetah in the trailer looked different, didn't it? PatG Posted December 16, 2013 Share Posted December 16, 2013 (edited) I always thought that the Cheetah was modeled after the Ferrari Enzo and the Pagani Zonda. Most of the cars in the game are usually "hybrid" cars. They are more or less a product of 2 cars having...you know...it. I'm pretty sure the cars are hybrids to prevent companies from maybe suing them for placing their car in the game. Maybe I'm wrong, but it kinda makes sense. I also had the Cheetah for a while, but I replaced it with a Surano after a while. The Cheetah is an okay car, to say the least. In terms of performance, the Entity kills it. I've had a really funny moment with the car though. I drove out of Los Santos Customs and then accidentally drove into a random Dominator. Because the Cheetah's suspension is already low (mine's stock) and the front of the car can more or less act like a ramp, I sorta lifted the car up. I continued to drive to see if I can fit myself under the pedestrian car and see how the pedestrian will react. After maybe 3 seconds of trying, the pedestrian got launched out the car and died. HAHAHAHA I tried to get out of the car to take a picture of her, but I also died getting out of the car. The Cheetah when you ram some one really fast from behind ( or taller cars trucks from front) you go under and send them flying in the f*cking air!! it's the ramp car! Great for Gta races! Try it! It's fun! It looks like a styled up Enzo for sure. My mechanic decided one day I should have 2 of them one day and delete my Coquette, so I got some good behind the wheel time w/ the Cheetah. As for looks, it's different which is nice but I don't really care all that much to begin with. Wish they could've had some other super cars in there as well. Even used it to get into Fort Z. That was hella fun.. Back to the subject, i have to agree with OP. I'm not a fan of the Cheetah's look but i am a fan of its ramping skillz. Gives it a better stance.. Notice the larger wing in the back. And the black metallic with silver white pearl over makes it glimmer in the light Ya know people have said it looks like the Batmobile!! Once you get the hang of the handling you can blow other unskilled racers with adders and entities out of the water. Also, the cheetah has a unique ability to drive under an entity and spin them out in a race. Also, if you manage to rip the hood off, the engine looks killer sweet.
