Ash_735
They reviewed GTAV not GTA Online, which wasn't even active at the time. Some websites did do another review for GTA Online afterwards, giving it average scores. Staten
iTz-JoNeSy
Clearly paid to give a false review. I wouldn't rate it 10/10 even if it worked. tom_p1980 and RyanBurnsRed

Anthony on GTA
How is this not a 10/10 game? There isn't a single other game on the market, never has been, that has this much detail and depth. Stop complaining you spoilt little brats. CantThinkOfOne2013
GTA V was reviewed before GTA Online came out, many critics reviewed GTA Online after and did not give it a fair chance. On a side note, GTA V got very few 10/10 scores, it mainly got 9/10s.

GTA_REEFER
GTA ONLINE IS AND WILL BE A SEPERATE ENTITY. This has been said plenty of times. which is why GTAV and GTAO have different features. I think by the time GTAO hits next gen and PC it will have its own price tag with 60fps,better graphics, possibly a new map and all (most) the bugs worked out. They have all but said GTAO is a beta

tom_p1980
Because it's the GTA brand. The name itself will always gets 9-10/10 even if it's a mess of a game like Aliens Colonial Marines or Star Trek the video game, for example. You can have a turd on a silver platter and stick it on ebay, no one would buy it. Stick the GTA or R* logo on that turd and people would remortgage their homes to be afford that turd on a platter. GTA5 was a mess, it wasn't a terrible game though, but it certainly didn't warrant anything more than a 6/10 but this is the age of where image is king, brand names rule supreme and where the almighty $ speaks everyone's language. So why did these reviewers give the game such high scores? I suspect some vested corporate interests would be at stake. Corporate brown nosing and colon tonguing gets you very far in the business world. And before people try and claim "why would any reviewer want to harm their reputation giving out false scores etc" well it works for IGN. Despite their rep they are still one of the biggest gaming sites on the net. The fact is giving out false scores to games doesn't harm them one bit.
