Custom job pay outs

How do the pay outs for custom jobs work? Has anyone figured this out? or is it just completely random?

i dont understand how races work anymore

apparently, the longer the time spent racing = more money and rp

but, i won a 5 lap race, in 3 minutes, and got over 5000RP and atleast 11k

More race=more money

That's pretty much how it works. The longer you race the higher the payout.

It's so that a race that lasts 2 seconds isn't set to a custom 10K for last place.

Since im not a racer, and I play death matches, how does this convert?

i understand R* doesn't want us to make short races for exploiting payouts, but i was a bit disappointed when i couldn't make a 1/4 mile drag strip out of trevor's airfield. the shortest allowed is .62 miles.

I'm not exactly sure but I believe what everybody else said is correct. The longer the race the more the payout.

 

And I'm not entirely sure about how it works for death matches.
