Actually, I've seen so many people make this complaint...

 

"The game is ruined cause I got money..."

 

Which obviously means that was the only reason they were playing.

 

I seriously believe if they had made the money more worthless by giving players hundreds of thousands for big missions, these players who have become bored would have never developed such a pointless expectation and would just be having fun playing TDM. Their own loss because of Rockstars poor choices, but the rest of us will continue to see this game for its true value.

 

Most casual gamers don't stay on a game for very long anyways, so there really wasn't anything you could do in the first place. It's their own fault for boring themselves and they come to the internet because mysery loves company.

I just got rich too. Player was setting billion dollar bounties. Just happen to claim one.

 

It's definitely going to change how I play since i'm not having to worry about money.

Don't get why some people are hating lol, the game was certainly not ruined for me when I got the money. It got more fun since I can buy anything I've unlocked without worrying about my cash. It might get boring for some people for a while but it really depends on what kind of "fun" you do in GTAO.

I think unlocking things are quite funny, I still remember when I first got my SMG unlock...run into the shot and get one of them and shot some random peds.

I am like level 69 now (f*ck...69...)and most commonly used weapon are unlocked already, but I am still expecting the gold tint, heavy sniper.

money....ok everything has 2 sides, I remember I was so mad as some guy spawn kill me and even destory my race bike like 2 weeks before (I did pay 10k for it, yes I am an idiot )

now? I just head to "boneyard", finish it and earn that cash, if I am lucky, I can also get 1 more on my way home.

if u bother to watch my sig. picture, I am just 1 inch away from my long waiting XF, even I dont race much now, I am still so excited to have this car in my garage.

what happen in someone give me 100m? I will buy those sport classic and drive around, or just ride by race bike without worrying some one will destory it (I didnt say I wont fight back) there are still place I didnt been there yet

Its weeks later when you dont see a point in doing anything but free roaming with your tank or chrome adder that it becomes boring. If i just wanted to drive and customize cars id play forza or something and if i wanted to free roam killing ppl id play a real shooter. I personally anyways enjoy doing some of everything and slowly buiding my way up in the game.

 

I feel like im playing a different game than most ppl though. ppl say its so hard to make money now but it takes about 10 hours of gameplay to earn enough money for the most expensive car in the game. I think the progression in this game is quicker than they intended seeing as they planned on ppl playing for a long time

People obviously play the game differently and you seem to lean more toward the progression. I personally prefer just enjoying the world.

 

Here's my honest view: If I had no money I would have gotten bored because I wouldn't be able to just hop into a game and mess about with my friends, I'd have to worry about the money for my ammo, i'd have to worry about the money for possibly losing my cars and so on. Now that I do have the money those worries are gone and i'm free to really get into the game.

 

The first thing I did once I got the money was to buy the Tank and Cargobob along with my friend (who also got money btw) and then fly around the city with the tank attached to the bob. We would fly to where there were players being chased by cops and blow the helicopters out of the sky and then fly off into the sunset. This is just one of many things we're going to do.

 

I don't hate progression personally. I think the game needs it but I don't think it was done the best way possible. The fact that you have to buy a lot of ammo (the max you an buy in the game is also ridiculous) or be level 100 to get a RPG is IMO a bit of an ask. For things like car mods and customization ect then yes I think progression is a great thing as it gives people something to aim for.

 

Obviously though at the end of the day nothing is going to be perfect for everyone and this is just my view on a much larger subject.

I like not having to even think about $. Now I just do whatever I enjoy at the moment, and don't have to grind/farm boring jobs just because they pay good.

I got my Entity legit and I have to say it was an amazing car. I used to just cruise in it all the time. Enjoy it once you get it

This thread itself isn't about "lol haxor gives mexor monies" its about the game still being interesting and fun even after you get the money. Sure I was given money by hackers but the result would be the same if you grinded or did the long haul to get your money.
