That's an interesting concept. Id say your both right and wrong here. Your correct in saying that most people don't actually want the physical object of 100 dollar note itself, they are only interested in the purchasing power that note can buy and the good or services it could exchanged for. You forgot about coin collectors however who would be interested in possessing the actual $100 rather than simply wanting the purchasing power given by the note. Because of this we cannot simply say money is an abstract concept and not an object because collectors are interested in physically possessing notes or coins rather than just wanting the purchasing power such notes or coins would entitle them to.

Hang on I just realised the OP is the same one who made that other suspicious thread earlier. The one for the car meet on PS3 where the OP said they would let you know the details once joined and made the OP come off a dodgy watch or rug salesman.

 

OP's name makes me laugh . Where I leave the HSC is a higher school certificate and what you get for finishing high school. I keep reading OP's name as Higher School Certificate Baller, real gangster.
