Many people here were disappointing by GTA V because they were expecting it to be the game of the generation, a masterpiece, a gem in gaming, etc. and it didn't meet their expectations. Who do they blame? Rockstar. Of course they overhyped it. Lets be honest, did Rockstar say in their magazines or articles that GTA V was going to be the game of the generation? Yes, the "most ambitious and biggest game yet" They showed the features and content in GTA V in a positive way. That's what every game company does. They showed Franklin's trailer to be somewhat of CJ's revenge part 2 with all the gangbangin', making us believe that Franklin was a gangbanger and was gonna show us WHAT GANGBANGING WAS ALL ABOUT! Even EA would do that. Rockstar, chose to overhype with all the information you got. "GTA V is bigger than San Andreas, GTA IV, and Red Dead Redemption COMBINED" Rockstar chose brainwash you with every single trailer 5 times a day. Rockstar did not confirm a "Game of the century/generation/millenium. (But they did win the GOTY though) . Rockstar drained out the enjoyment of the game by overhyping it so much. And that's why most of you were dissapointed. GANGBANG. V has more to offer than any past GTA. It may not have every feature from past games, but it does have more features. That alone makes this the best game. Some will consider older games to be better, and thats fine, but V is not garbage or a disaster that some pretend it to be. Its a phenomenal game and nothing a gamer should be disappointed about.
