will you get banned for collecting high priced bounties ?

Me and my friend were one of the first to have a billion dollar bounty on us ,we were messing around inside the bank vault glitch when out of no where my friend got a billion dollars bounty we thought it was a glitch because we were inside the bank but now we no its a mod obviously but I killed her and collected the bounty and we split it now we each have around 500 million, will we get banned for modding or something? It would be ridiculous if we did because we never ask for it and now its a huge deal .. (A message to Rockstar , we are the are the victims don't punish us )

I wish people would stop with these threads ...anyway..here it goes... I dont think you will be banned if your legitimately playing gta 5 and there was no pre-agreement of you going to receive money and the acceptance of it. make sense?

 

P.S. When I say 'THESE THREADS' I mean the ones that ask if you will get banned for accepting the money in one form or another. Just to clarify myself.

i have emailed R* in 3 different occasions regarding this... first when i received 800k, later i received 400k and just last night i claimed a 200million bounty.

 

all 3 times received the same response... they wont do nothing since they cant trace the money back to the sender and they cant delete money from your account.

Collected 6 billion dollar bounties just tonight. I've been sharing every one of them with the lobby. If I get 6 in one session, there's bound to be a LOT of people being made billionaires. It's kinda getting annoying now too. All players are at the hackers feet begging and it's just stupid.

Care to quote any of the emails? I've got 200 mil from a hacker and I'm curious to see if I'm just getting away with it.

 

OP, I imagine they won't punish you, but you may get your bank account reset.

 

Honestly, what they should do is reset everybody with more than 50 million to 500 thousand in the next update. Nothing should be done to their garages or to their rank. This way, the player's isn't completely screwed for a few days of pure grinding, and they still have incentive to get more. 500 thousand doesn't really last long in this game, anyways.

I doubt any bans will occur but if they were to happen I doubt you and your friend would be effected since you don't have control when someone puts a bounty on you. It would happen to the person who modded the game, not the victims.

Just public sessions on xbox live. I have a friend that does it also but he doesn't spam bounties like this random player I came across..

I was banned for 7 months 2 days later, i have have tried emailing Rockstar multiple times to explain what happened and even tried calling, but it seems they are ignoring me cause i got no response.

Alright well I guess I got my answer when I got on this morning.. I'm not banned but they took all of my money and stuck me with a dunce cap and label me a cheater
