Bruno1574
Hi, I went up to the max cap in the game (SP) and yes I know this is more than enough but what if our properties income goes over the limit and it becomes -2,147,483,647 (negative). Some people have gone over and had the negative number and when they tried to buy something it said that they are broke once they hit the negative number. So as saying what if it our income does go over? Thanks! mrdiamond666
halapeno71
I'm not clear on what is you're asking here. Yes, you'll go into the negatives if your balance exceeds the cap (which will happen if you're already at the cap and you acquire more money either through property income or knocking over a security van or whatever). So stay away from the cap. Just dump a lot of money into a stock and leave it there if you're worried about it. Ryan_
CrazyRay
You will never need that much money for ANYTHING in the game...so spend it, or it's going to be your problem
Spuds725
Ditto about parking extra cash in stocks (it doesn't count toward your cash in hand)-- I haven't made a dent in my 1.8 billion per character I earned. Cutter De Blanc
Once you are at max cash, you no longer collect any money. Any more aquired is effectively wasted.

At max cash you are in danger of rolling over to the negative billions.

At max cash you are in danger of rolling over to the negative billions. I was under the impression that that particular bug had been fixed. My Michael earns over $830,000 a week, and it never rolls into the negatives. It'll give him enough cash to max him out, and then I can't make any more money until I spend some. I'm still playing an unpatched version of the game and I wasn't aware that the rollover issue had been fixed.
King_Curtis
I have aroumd 300billion across the 3 characters so my money is maxed out quite often, but i never had it rolled into the negatives... What i find annpyng thpugh is the way the stockmarket works.. it would be better if you could just type in the amount of stocks you want. also i dont really understand why there is a money cap. i know its something binary, but surely it would be possible to get it higher/unlimites
Lethal Vaccine
Ditto about parking extra cash in stocks (it doesn't count toward your cash in hand)-- I haven't made a dent in my 1.8 billion per character I earned. I only managed to get shy of 1 billion dollars with all three of my characters, T being the lowest, at 844 million. I also find that whatever you do, no matter how much you buy, no matter how many cars you fully mod and destroy to make more room for other cars, it won't EVER run out. Idk what all the hype is about reaching the money cap. Even 50 million is good enough, let alone 2 billion lol
King_Curtis
Btw i would just like to add that whenever you try to sell excessive stocks, it just wont let you sell it. you keep those stock. i know you dont need that much money, but i have alot fun playing.the stock market. i wonder when it gets activated in gta online
halapeno71
Idk what all the hype is about reaching the money cap. You'll wish you had when a future update introduces the $2,147,483,647 luxury home! Okay, that's not likely to happen. But in my case it was just an "I'm going to climb this mountain because it happens to be there." sort of deal. Not because there's any point to it. For me, 1 billion will do, though. Not really interested in more money at all.
boshk
its not really that hard to get over 2.1 billion. just put all your money in the bawsaq, and your money climbs exponentially.
OldGamer67
its not really that hard to get over 2.1 billion. just put all your money in the bawsaq, and your money climbs exponentially. Yep, this. I'm obscenely rich and I haven't even done the Lester missions or taken advantage of the Tinkle guy. I just played BAWSAQ and spend most of my time buying luxury cars, modding them to the max and driving by trucks on the highway trying to shoot out their gas tanks. This is a potentially risky pastime since if you get too close ... BOOM! And then it's back to the garage for another car. Even if I bought Z-Types and modded them out I wouldn't put a dent in my bank account.
StangOne50
I read somewhere that going into the negatives was fixed by one of the updates . I have max money and have never went into negatives . OP are you up to date with the updates ?
unfairlane
Max money? There is no such thing as max money if you use the stock-marked

Is that possible? I have an editor of some sorts and I can edit my money whenever I want. I tried to give myself even just 3 billion and the editor automatically corrected me and maxed it out at the 2,147,483,647 cap. So if each character had that cap, your total spending money would be just 6,442,450,941 which is no where near 300 billion.
Halo3230
The cap is 4.1 bill not 2.1 stay with facade it peaks at 72% not
Kinghyper
I thought this was a troll until I read all the replys but I wouldn't know because I only have like 1.1b on each character, anyway this is the same money cap as in runescape like exact? Weird, coming from an EX runescape player btw lol
King_Curtis
I have 300 billion yes, but obviously most of the money is in the stockmarket. So you could say i dont have 300 billion cash, but the networth of all 3 characters combined is about 300 billion.
SirFartsAlot
So what should I do? I've got 810m with Michael. But got the bus (100%) and the con(80%) missions left. So i will pass the money cap.. Do I go negative? I've got the latest patch..
