Leveling up feels more like a chore than anything

I'm currently level 50 and I'm aiming 70 so I can buy the tank but leveling up is such a long, REPETITIVE, and boring process. Just doing the same boring missions and survivals over and over and over again. It was fun at first but now it just feels like a chore.

Here's a tutorial, you can even get CE cars even though you don't have CE

To get the tank, go to Warstock and do the same thing as in this video, but replace the number with "1"

if it's such a chore then try and make it more interesting for yourself - find a group of players to do missions / races / survivals / free roaming with and don't focus on your objective (focusing on it will only make it seem further away than it actually is)

You are making it a chore yourself if that's what you are doing. Grab some people and play random stuff of the vote screen, or create a diverse playlist (or use mine: http://socialclub.rockstargames.com/games/gtav/playlists#playlist/gL4LoQgulkGG_Wq8RDldAg) and you'll level up whilst having fun.

To the OP - I find it a challenge to level up now. It'd be more of a chore if they didn't fix Criminal Records, because then you'd be doing that all day, over and over and over again.

Umm yes he gets away with it, I've seen like hundreds of people with cargobobs and tanks with like 2-40 level, R* isn't gonna do anything about it

If you want the Khamelion or Hotknife, you need to first put the number in the url normally, then go to home page for the second time, hover over the url, press BA / CircleX and put "purchasecar" over "car-details"

So for CE cars, yes you need to click it twice.

FYI you can buy a tank at any level. for the tank you put purchasetank

I grinded to level 120 so I could get the mini gun. After that, no real incentive/reason to level up any further.

Getting the tank isn't going to satisfy your childish impulses. Once you get the tank, you'll be complaining about something else. If you don't enjoy the game for the gameplay aspect, then you'll NEVER enjoy it regardless of whatever junk you own.

Other missions, I believe there are around 180 coop missions.

Gang attacks.

Find crates, sell vehicles, hunt bounties in free roam.

Or just have some fun in free roam and go for some of the medals, which also gain you some RP.

Why not get a tank? They're fun. You can fight the cops, and actually have a effective weapon against other griefers.

Not really. I do free aim in good paying missions. I rank up over 1 per hour session now, where before it was like 3 hours, n this is post rank 100 even. I'm 103 now.

 

My mission cash before 1.07 was 5-12.5k a job. Now its 7500-18750. How are people not having enough cash...? Oh yeah, ignorance and laziness.
