I stick to closed crew and invite only sessions with friends and crew so no, I have not been given any money. I have earned over $11 million and have nearly $4.5 million on hand at the moment. If people would just play the game and maybe be a little smarter with some of their purchases they wouldn't need the help of the hackers. That said, from what I hear a lot of times players don't have a choice and sometimes get money forced on them.

It's a small crew with some of my RL friends and coworkers. To be clear, I understand the plight of those players that stick to freeroam. It can be very expensive constantly buying ammo and explosives. Since we virtually never do the traditional freeroam and stick to more coop type activities, we don't waste a lot of ammo or time going after players.

 

I know a lot of people love the freeroam aspect of the game, but if you truly want to never worry about money at all, stay away from it and your revenue will exceed your expenses.

I got 2 billion from a hacker so I'm kinda the opposite of you guys. My friend has ALOT of cool expensive cars and still never glitched exploited or had money given to him (except stimulus package) his doing amazingly good considering he isn't actually that good at playing (no offense if your reading).

 

Before you send a message to rockstar reporting me, I told them to get rid of 90% of the money and they said they couldn't do anything.

Seriously though, it's fun to work towards things but the grind gets old. If that's the only fun of the game and money takes it away that's sh*tty but few people actually get rid of their gifted money. It would take some time to buy a thousand adders to get rid of a billion but it's certainly doable.

You don't get a choice at all, man. You just enter a random session as you have done countless times before and do the sort of things you've always been doing, when suddenly your balance pops up with a 10 digit figure.

 

It's not like you can fight it off lol

Right. But there are also players on these forums that seek out hackers and join private lobbies with them just for that purpose too. That's what I meant by the 'sometimes players don't have a choice'.

I only go the $500K stimulus from Sugar Daddy Rockstar, apologizing for the damaged GTA0 launch (kind of like Kobe buying a huge-ass diamond for his wife, after getting caught banging a hot slut at a Vegas hotel). That money was really important to me at the time. It made all the difference between GTA0 slogging, versus actually enjoying the game.

 

Then I learned about the LSC glitch, and made myself a modest $2M or so. Each time on returning from the Character Swap, it would drop me into a new public session, but I never got any money, I just got killed.

Everything I got, I got for myself, playing for hours on end on my Xbox. So no, haven't gotten anything yet~

 

Right now, I'm at that position where I wouldn't mind getting that money. I've obtained so much by working for it. 400.000$ penthouse, bunch of big cars, all that, so honestly, it'd mostly just allow me to play around more freely with different cars, customizing them and such. I'm mostly just grinding for those last 10 levels to hit that Minigun mark~

Well that's true, there's always gonna be those chasing down the hackers for that type of stuff. Sadly Rockstar seems rather slow at hunting them down or addressing the issue too.

 

As long as the game has got more holes than a piece of gruyere, some people bound to keep getting f*cked.

 

I mean right now, it's mostly "nice" hackers. They give away stuff for free and generally "help out". I've only seen one invincibility hacker and that was this weekend, same night I got randomly gifted. Different guy though and different sessions, but for the past week, it's like the hackers have finally cracked their way into the game.

 

I know PS3 has had hackers for longer than XBL, but for us XBL gta players it's kind of a shock at the moment lol.

 

Me and my mates saw a guy going from lvl350 to 950 after a very strange lag spike. It's like...what the hell is going ??!!!!
