Because people generally like focusing on the negative aspects of a given thing, which is why news broadcasts are always filled with "Does a certain brand of toothpaste cause hysterical pregnancy? Find out more at eleven!" or "Celebrity of the week trips on sidewalk, world ends" nonsense rather than "Anonymous donor gives $50k to keep homeless shelter open" types of stories.

 

Maybe people focus on the negative to make themselves feel better in comparison? I dunno. /armchairpsychiatrist

i agree with OP. i too explored yankton for about 2 hours and saw what you saw.

 

it even changes at night.

 

 

i dont care if they left it as is (well of course polishing up some of the graphics and filling in the invisible floors that lead to the mountains)

 

i had fun there having a 5 star war and i was by myself. im going to try right now to get 2 people with me
