Is there really a low ammount of Criminal Activities?

From what i've seen, it seems that people haven't actually played the game let-alone play as Trevor some more, a lot of people say most of the activities that were crime-related were swapped by leisure activities such as yoga, which just makes me want to...., anyways i've been playing a lot to notice there is a fair ammount of activities which involve crime, so i'll leave a list containing the activities which are related to crime or are crimes themselves.

Here's the list:

- Weed Farm Raids

- Arms Smuggling, Land

- Arms Smuggling, Air

- Barry's weed smuggling

- Smoke on the water shop smuggling

- Property defending

- Rampages

- Hao's ilegal Street racing

- Assasinations

- Structured armoured vehicle robberies

- Shop robberies

- Kiddnaping Hitchhikers (Altruist Cult Deliveries)

Strangers and Freaks:

- Nigel's Celebrity stalking, which ranges from chasing a dog in Portola drive to chasing Al Dinapoli crashing through a hospital.

- Beverly's missions, which involve taking pics of her highness buying drugs to chasing Ms. America to take a pic of her getting arrested for Driving under the influence.

- Josh Berstein's real state extortion.

And that's all I can actually think of..

It depends how you look at it.

Some people look at it like this...

No gang wars/drug dealing = No criminal activities/worst game ever

...unfortunately.

Vigilante is kinda replaced with Bounty hunting (Which actually pays better than all the 30 most wanted together, although it should of had been infinite like it)

Added: Strangers and freaks.

Another thing the SA fanboys complain about - no house robberies.

I don't know about you, but I personally found creeping around houses incredibly boring and tedious.

V has depository vans to rob, which is much more fun.

Man, I love the vans.

Think of how creative you can get. You could create your own "Blitz Play" if you're resourceful enough. Okay, maybe not to the exact scale or extent. But y'know.

Well by the logic of: "Official General", 10 crimes is more then enough. So...its more then enough for GTA V to be considered a crime game!

and here we have a fanboy again who desperately tries to justify GTA V and Rockstar's decisions

I think its pretty obvious that this GTA in comparison to others has a low ammount of criminal activities

btw how the f*ck can you even list things as being a freaking paparazzi as a criminal activity ( in comparison to drug deliveries or Gang wars) thats just ridiculous?

Also half of your so-called list is just random encounters

My main complaint is that the main missions are too much about corrupt law enforcement sh*t instead of "real" crime organisations like the mafia, cartel or gangs

I mean there was soo much potential there they really made these different gangs with effort and in the end they were wasted( the armenian mafia, mara bunta grande, madrazzo cartel...)

I understand that you like GTA V It actually is a very good game but please dont always try to be a rockstar asskisser by trying to say that the complaints about the

games are sh*t and its a freaking masterpiece ( because its not, like every other game it has faults)

(wating for niko bellic half brother to say that the corrupt goverment is something new and fresh) but really its not

So saying I like the game and I try to defend the fact that there is a fair ammount of Criminal activities means im an ass-kisser now? Wow you pathetic pesimistic sh*t, I really though you couldn't sink any lower than that. Recycling the same sh*t ain't going to help you.

And what are we going to do in Gang Wars if for the 5685976094th time there is a goddamn truce. The truce wasn't even broken because Stretch was actually setting Lamar up but Franklin got in the way. Are we going to kill a few gangbangers and say it was a good day? You ain't even going to control anything because there ins't any sort of drug Market appart from Weed. And what good is the drug-dealing too if there's only weed in the market? Weapons sell better, and thats why we got that option.

Oh and Beverly's side missions actually involve a Little bit of crime.

Dont fool yourself man for f*ck's sake I don't know how often I have to repeat myself its not about the Gang Wars ( and in particular its not about the ballas or even the Families there are soo many gangs in the game they could have done much more with them )

It seems you are so caught up in Rockstar's ass you can't read anymore

And I actually like the game BUT one simply can't deny the fact that there were less criminal activities and in general almost no involvment of "real " criminal

organisations in the main storyline( not some random ecounter bullsh*t) and instead we got the f*cking FIB

but fanboys like you bash "complainers" and try to justify every freaking flaw the game has

Im not up R*'s ass, I admit the game has it's certain flaws but saying it has lesser criminal activities? Are you so f*cking serious? Thats not even random encounters im talking about if you even read the OP.

And the FIB takes atleast 8 missions of the story, is that really all the f*cking story? You people are making it sound like if they were trying to make you save the f*cking world by giving you a cop uniform and telling you to give tickets and arrest shop-lifters.

I'm pretty sure weed farm raids are glitched as every save I've done I've only been able to to it once and never again even though you can supposedly do it once a week.

Defending properties is very sporadic too.

FBI, CIA, man those are way more hardcore criminal organizations, I live in a gang neighborhood in LA but I know the biggest baddest gang clique on the block is Hollenbeck Division. MS-13's one of the most infamous criminal organizations out there, and they in Guatemala, but they ain't never did a coup disposing the leader because he was f*cking with their paper like the CIA did. Uncle Sam is the biggest baddest gangster ever.

Aside from that I'm inclined to agree with you, a lot of this sh*t isn't what I have in mind for extra-curricular activities, you transport a few vehicles with weed over to some fool in Venice? And then what? Nothing. You help out a paparazzi with his antics, help a crazy British guy collect sh*t, destroy signs for a real estate dude, do a few rampages, all of those end quickly, you finish 'em and then what. And those aren't the type of activities we have in mind.

- Josh Berstein's real state extortion.

And that's all I can actually think of..

* Arms smuggling missions, land and air - Only Trevor can do them, I hate playing as Trevor, and he dies in my game, so no good to me.

* Weed farm raids - Again, only Trevor can do them, no good to me. Besides they can only be once or twice or something like that. It's shame because I'd have really enjoyed that.

* Barry's weed smuggling ? Ha ha, you cannot be serious - that bullsh*t was such a supreme waste of time. I actually hoped that would have been great too. There was nothing criminal about it.

* Smoke Shop smuggling - Not sure if that's a crime, as the cannabis was supposed to be legal. Anyway it was very few and far between you would get a call for a task or mission.

* Property defending - Very few and far between, again calls for missions and tasks were so sporadic. Small tick

* Rampages - Only Trevor can do them. No good to me.

* Armored cash van robberies - Yeah they were cool, I liked them. TICK

* Illegal street racing - That's a GTA staple, and it's just racing, nothing to be excited about. This is just clutching at straws.

* Store robberies - Yeah, I very much liked this. Was real glad to see it return. TICK

* Kidnapping hitchhikers for Altruist cult - Sounds cool, but it's not my ideal crime-related side mission. Couldn't care about doing stuff for cults. Small tick

* Strangers and Freaks - Most of those missions were quite rubbish and a bit boring to be honest. Jogging in a race with a fitness-mad lady, simple tow trucking tasks, breaking into homes for celebrities's personal belongings, nah I just was not impressed. Honestly, none of them seriously felt like crime-related activities to me.

* Nigel's celebrity stalking. - I don't think I've done that yet, will come back to that.

* Beverly's Paparazzi missions - They okay, but the main issue here was that you never got paid for it, so it was useless. Kinda ruined it for me. The only real crime here is that you end up with a choice of killing Beverly.

* Josh Bernstein's Hollywood extortion - That was not a side mission, it was part of the main story. It does not count. It was very mediocre anyway.

Note : TICK for decent, solid crime-related side missions. Small tick for weak, mediocre, but nevertheless crime-related side missions. Nothing for those not considered any of the above two. In your long and extensive list, I counted just two TICKs and just two small ticks.

No it was a Strangers & Freaks mission strand, and it also involved GBH and Arson, which are criminal activities.

To be be fair Official, you can't just write off a criminal activity because you don't like to play as the character that does it. It's still a criminal activity.

Unless this list is for you, in which case, it's fine.

Yeah you have point, but I still I have one too. For me personally, (and many others who feel the same way) the fact that Trevor gets the best crime side missions kinda ruins the experience completely, if I don't wanna play as him. I'm sorry that is how I see it. Especially if I kill Trevor, I cannot do these side missions after the story, some of which are actually quite good. If I was able to use Franklin or Michael for this stuff, I'd have probably had a different view of crime-related side missions in GTA V, but because of these restrictions (in addition to other lacking crime side missions) I'm very critical of it.

Ya'know, cause there ain't nothin' illegal or wrong about Trevor, with an assault rifle, barging into a weed farm, with gang members, who also carry assault rifles (or something of the like), and having their own little skirmish.

Micheal should have a lot of mafia type missions. (he's in Hollywood, make that sh*t gritty an mafia dirty)

Franklin should be able to recruit homies, and ride on other gangs[gangwars]. (alota people say he quit this life but he still owns a green rag and he still does some gang related sh*t)
