$100,000,097 bounty exist?

I was playing the other day and 2 people in my game had a $100mil bounty put on them. Is this a new glitch people are doing or something? I went after him but I was unable to get it. D: Here you can see a video of what went down in that game. It was actually pretty fun seeing so many players chasing one guy.

! I would be quite happy if someone randomly gave me 2 billion dollars. And that negative bounty, does that mean if you complete it you go negative in money? And the guy, if he were to survive it, would go negative as well? That would suck so bad. Lose lose situation.

Sometimes you can't chose to get them, they just give it to you, you can't do anything about that.

I would agree with you except you can't actually do anything about it. You can't choose to deny people giving you money. All that happens is that they deposit a mass quantity of money in your bank account without you having any say in the matter.

I would agree with you except you can't actually do anything about it. You can't choose to deny people giving you money. All that happens is that they deposit a mass quantity of money in your bank account without you having any say in the matter. Ahh ! I did not know that you couldn't choose to or choose not to accept the money . I only play SP . Looks as if I opened my mouth a little too soon . My fault OP . i can confirm that those bounties exist and when claimed you do receive the money. last night a group of guys level 1000 came into the server i was in and put 200million bounties, i claimed one. i was kind enough to share 100million with all the members of the server.

 

on a different server someone put a 200million bounty on me that was eventually claimed by my bro.

Since R* has closed all the glitches and reduced the payouts on missions I would have no quams whatsoever about accepting such a charitable donation so I can enjoy the game to its fullest.

 

What they've done is really screw the players who were not on in time to take full advantage of all the money making glitches and have ended up with a game filled with some players who have to watch their money and others that can do as they please as they can easily afford it. It's totally ridiculous!

I thought my eyes were deceiving me when I saw a 200M bounty placed on somebody, I was going to get it myself but couldn't in time, luckily a kind player gifted me half.

 

People can bitch and moan all they want about the glitch, rockstar may patch it in an upcoming update, but I highly doubt they'd steal back the amount of money that was gifted, especially when you have no say.

Somebody put it on another player in a scenario with tanks, many gunfire etc and I was in the middle of this mess.

After I captured a tank some "hackers" got very angry. They tried to kill me even in "Pause" mode but I somehow terminated one guy with this high bounty. I realized just when I quite the current session.

 

And, additionally, same bounty was on me. I then survived the time and now I have about 2 Billions.

 

I dd not hack, but was there when these kids were around.

 

I'd like to see that Rockstar blocks that. Same as with gamer's rep of mor than 900 !

past 2 lobbies I was in, someone on the mic was asking everyone if they wanted money. The first one gave everyone 57mil, so I left. Second lobby guy killed someone with a high bounty and said "I share bounties" and I immediately left, seriously Rockstar needs to do something about this

i think R* pushed people into cheating/hacking the moment they nerfed the mission payouts.

 

they make missions pay less, while increasing the cost of life. ammo, clothing, car parts EVERYTHING is more expensive now that it was when gtao launched.

 

for example right from the beginning if you wanted to have your crew logo(small, large in front, large on back) on your shirt it would only cost $100. later they made it $100 for the small and $500 for big ones. patch 1.07 they changed to the prices to $5k and $10k. all that money for a logo on a shirt. if you change clothing, you have to pay full price AGAIN if you want your logo.

 

same thing goes with masks, early in gtao i saw i mask i wanted to buy it cost $5k. by the time i level up to unlock the mask the price had doubled.

 

and the list goes on and on. i dont support cheating/hacking on games but R* pushed the prices too hard, too soon.

 

im not saying that if R* didnt nerf the payouts people wont hack or glitch but in sure it wont be as wild spread as it is right now.

Gosh I would love to see that kind of money in my bank account, been trying to save for a cheetah and a z-type for weeks but I can never get the money together. I think r* might balance the cash that has been given out so they take it away from the people who have got the 'non-legit' cash and then to compensate the 'legit' players they give them like 100k or a little reward for not glitching.

I joined a lobby and within minutes someone placed a 200 million dollar bounty on me. I don't support cheating or glitching so I walk outside to see quite a few people waiting for me. Someone had just got a lot of money. R* really really need to do something about this. For me, they released the game too early. The amount of bugs and glitches that people abused is unreal. The game isn't fair anymore knowing that so many people have abused glitches to get their money. I'd rather R* just wipe everyone's account and have everyone start again once all of the glitches have been fixed.

They are doing this by blocking Rockstar server, hosting an clone server. Then they can edit the tunables in the JSON file.

People that mod the game are able to do things like this. This is something Rockstar is aware of.
