Races, world records bullsh*t?

every racing game with checkpoints have lagged or glitched times, if forza couldnt get around the problem then no one else will be able to conquer the problem

One of the new DLC races used to give your char a world record no matter what time you got. Both my chars rock that world record tattoo, think I saw something on the C* support forums about it.

Some of them are due to cheaters, some due to drafting, but some are also due to a glitch in the game. Same glitch that will say you just overtook first place when you are in 6th place. Back before patch 1.02 I was doing a race and it said I got the world record......even though I was in 2nd place and was only half way through the 1st lap. So, I would say the insane ones, like .25 seconds are due to a game glitch.

well leave other things i have seen world record which is 00.00.03 , yes a fraction of second i don't remember what race

the records are wrecked, and will never be fixed completely... but still most of the records set legit are pretty obvious, at one point i held 11th on broughies inner loop, now 33rd but up to about 6th i think it was the times were like 1 minute or whatever, but then above that its like 40 seconds, 30 seconds per lap, so i just gauge myself on what i think looks like the most legitimate record

I tend to be about 50th on a track I learn and try set a good time. Above that the almost legit times seem to have been done with a tow.
