Is GTA Online a similar experience to WoW?

There is no difference, they're almost identical. I'd say GTA Online ripped off WoW and copied everything WoW did in 2004.

lol not even close in so many aspects the main diference is WoW is a MMO that had 1000s of people on a server at any given time GTAO is like 1 zone of WoW with up to 16 people playing in it

 

the only similarity i see is the fact both had alot of issues at launch.

Except for buying Chinese farmed gold off the Internet you actually have to play the game and earn up your rank and items, in GTA Online your really not much different at lvl 1 or 100

 

Imagine in WOW if a lvl 1 tried to kill a lvl 75! Not going to happen, inGTA a lvl one can pick up a lvl 120 weapon and use it all day until they log off and it disappears plus you can kill anyone any level with no big noticeable difference.

 

Also instead of taking two or three months to learn how to play your char and lvl him up to Maxx you can do it in GTA online in one weekend. Also you will not need to work for anything like gold or even have to buy it since people will just cheat and give you billions of dollars randomly.

 

Even after all this has been said GTA Online can be a very awesome game way better than WOW if you ask me after five years WoW got so boring i had to leave. I guess after five weeks it might be the same for GTa unless you really just hang in the lol

I owned the AH in Warcraft. Arcanite rods. Had the market corned. Once I hit 70 I didn't even leave Stormwind. I'd occasionally venture to IF if I wanted to buy/sell something there, but that was it. Auction House was wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy to addictive.
