R* should implement a flamethrower and a katana

Sure they would be OP up close but so is a fully automatic shotgun. Katana could have same range as golf club, maybe we could throw it too

If the beach bum pack is anything to go by, just reskin the golf club and use the knife animations and there you have it

Problem is, in VC their heads would come off.

 

I doubt Rockstar would allow GTA to get that gory, especially if they implemented a chainsaw. Unless they pull that Saint's Row chainsaw where when you hit them it's just a big splatter of blood.

 

Molotovs are in free roam but are only obtainable through a Merryweather ammo drop. Shame that we can buy a freakin' broken bottle at ammunation but not Molotovs. I'm also tired of melee weapons with different skins too.

Katanas would be pointless IMO, especially if you couldn't sever limbs with it. Maybe it'd make a nice 'flavor' weapon but that's about it.

 

Having a flamethrower would be nice though. Then I could run around as Hank Scorpio

I poured it on this dude's Adder and lighted the trail with backfire, so I didn't get bad sport and I just heard him yell "What the f*ck?!" over the mic, haha.

 

Pointless now though because you can just drop PVs into the ocean with a Cargobob.

If they'd ever implement the different Factions for Online (The Yakuza, The Jamaican Gang, The Italians) where you could pick one side and gain Reputation with that particular Faction.

 

Then i could see The Katana as an unlockable weapon from The Yak, The Chainsaw from The Jamaicans, and The Flamethrower from The Italians
