I got tired of being shot at outside LSC so I did this...

Now, you'd think that the next person who came along would have the intelligence to get in these cars one-by-one and drive them out of the way, right? Apparently not. The first guy who showed up repeatedly rammed the cars until the situation became even worse. They were crumpled up and wedged.

 

The second person to come along was a glitcher in a Z-type who threw a sticky bomb and blew up the cars... causing LSC to close. Great fun for me, highly irritating for him. People really choose not to use their brains when they play this game.

 

Note: This is not something I do regularly. If somebody treats me inappropriately I won't stalk them and try to kill them, I'll do something like this instead because it's much more entertaining.

lol.. lame.. and does not correspond with your story at all. you would not be able to set this up while being shot at by randoms and then exiting after moving each one in passive mode. so, you did this after already joining a new lobby and then waited for people to show up. then you sit in passive mode when people who are just like you (mad about being shot at LSC) pull up and see this... yea... great logic bro.

Worked better for me back when i had a PV tank haha, i used to set the vehicle access to no one and park it right up at the door while sitting in passive mode on the roof of LSC haha

if i saw this i would instantly assume that the player who set it up is exactly what you assume me to be. make sense? you will get it one day.

I better solution for the glitcher would be to press start go to Online and choose "Find new session". Saves a lot more time.

Touché. Not going to lie but if someone does shoot me alot i'd actually do something similar.

 

In fact something I would love to do, when the game was new, was park a high end car outside LSC and wait for someone to drive in, get out and attempt to get into it then blow their heads off. Why? Because people would try to kill me so why shouldn't I do the same.

Should have reported you for preventing others from playing the game, you arent allowed to purposely block access to things like that, puts you in a cheater lobby.

 

That said, when I see that I take the 45 second trip to the next LSC in line and glitch up a storm unmolested.

 

You arent pissing anyone off, youre just likely to get yourself removed from games with other players for a while.. so feel free because putting tard glitchmads like you in their place is infinitely more satisfying than anything else.

 

BTW creative people cargobob drop a boat in the slot.

I wasn't being shot at while setting this up. I entered Passive Mode and patiently waited for the players to move on to other things. Patience is key here, most GTA players don't have any.

 

I didn't join a new lobby, this was all in one session after witnessing the unpleasant behaviour at LSC. People go there to modify their car, see another player and develop blood lust. It's like waving a red rag in a bull's face, they can't help but charge in.

 

To be honest, I wouldn't use "mad" to describe how I felt. I'd say I was bemused. I was enjoying myself, I had a laugh. My reaction to being shot at was a positive one, not a negative one. I wanted to do something that would actually affect people beyond simply killing them and forcing them to respawn.

OP is hilariously naive. like i said, rooftop access is all i care about. i never go anywhere close to the inside of this LSC garage if other people are there.

Wow, there's a lot of sensitivity on this forum. I didn't realise people would get so upset. You'd honestly report somebody for doing this? That's extreme. What about the glitcher in the Z-type? What about the kids killing anyone who comes near LSC? And yet here I am in Passive Mode simply moving a few vehicles and I'm a cheater. Killing people so they can't enter somewhere isn't preventing them from playing, but parking three cars which can be moved if you move them yourself IS? Bizarre logic.

Exactly. Sniping, I understand, because 95% of players like going to the downtown LSC and they still manage to get caught off-guard...but blocking it? There are two other LSCs not too far away, plus Beeker's Garage in Blaine County if you really need to get to a garage for whatever reason.

Come on, man. Don't assume. I'm not one of those players who is useless and can't stand their ground. I've lost count of the number of times I've had to hunt someone down and snipe them for killing me, it gets old. I was tired, it was late, I just wanted to mess around and have a laugh to myself so I put down the gun and entered Passive Mode to see what I could do.

 

Also, I agree about the running over. I hate that so much. It's completely disrespectful to run someone over and not give them a chance to move. If I run someone over, I genuinely only hit them once and then I drive off. If they survive, good for them. I'm not going to do to them what I hate having done to me.

 

Which takes me back to this post. If somebody blocked the LSC entrance when I showed up, I wouldn't get touchy about it. I'd smile at the fact that someone else is getting creative and finding new ways to get back at other players. You know, there are a lot of low levels out there who don't have the money/rank to access decent weapons. They should be doing this stuff and using Passive Mode, they don't have to be helpless.

Its seen by R* as what it is, when you put a block in front of an LSC you are purely trying to inconvenience players, its not playing the game how it should be, its just being a dbag and trying to piss others off by blocking access to things.(even if it doesnt actually piss them off)

 

Ive seen it stated multiple times, youre not allow to impede peoples movement or use things like that to block access to shops etc.. I would never report it but Im pretty sure blocking someone inside a shop could arguably be punishable.. however it could also be argued as a tactic for killing/robbing them by forcing them to get the cops on them, thats more grey area.. the thing is, you dont get to defend yourself.. some random dude at R* decides if what youre doing is just being a jackass and trying to ruin the game or not. They dont take into account the fact that there are other LSC's.. say you blocked all of them, where does it become punishable... Ill tell you, it becomes punishable at the first shop you block people out of just to piss them off.
