Idk where but I've read somewhere that there should be atleast four interpreters at the ready for rotations in events like this. So, if ANC got them, and if Jantjie suddenly got a schizophrenic episode, then he'd be able to leave the event when he's rotated. But the f*cker didn't which clearly implies he wanted to monopolize the limelight for fame and fortune. Also, The South African Deaf strongly suspect that he got the position due to nepotism so again, if he was a qualified interpreter and schizophrenia suddenly attacked him during the event, the South African Deaf would be able to understand his initial signs.
