L.S.Customs could been so much much better...

Guess some of you remember Midnight Club:LA when it came out 4-5yrs ago.

R* released this great racinggame with licensed real cars and AM-Parts manufactureres, .

Why didnt R* use that part from MC:LA as a template for making L.S.Customs? GTA5 is a great game, if we look away from the itzy bitzy tiny little selection of Aftermarked parts at L.S.Customs.

I had so much fun with modding cars back in the days in MC:LA, and then it said "DING" in my mind.

R* also made that game..

so just for fun i started up the game, i had to compare how much more tuning options there was and...............
My heart almost stopped when i saw all the possibilities, you can modify anything on your car, didnt see what i could NOT modify

What i like to do in GTA5 is cruisin` the streets in my American Muscles or Classics and lookout for other Classic Muscles, freaks and hot chicks..

GTA5 is starting to get rather boring, its nothing "new" in this game,(If you havent glitched for CE Cars.)

I know this isnt a car/racing game, but its a game where you cannot play without having a ride...

We NEED more aftermarket parts for our rides and we need more vehicles in general.

I got the game at launchdate, and getting tired recieve same incoming calls on phone about why i dont call for work, and i get same low level missions over and over (lvl50 or lower).im lvl104

The Beach Bum DLC had 1 good thing, Guess what
How did they come up with that we wanted to see another of those noncustomizable Rumpo Vans? .or a boat?
How many times online have u used a boat just to use it?

There is new stuff coming in future DLC for GTA5, but nothing woulda pleased me more than new cars, bikes and aftermarket parts for them in a separate DLC...

And Heists? Pffff, kinda late for that What am i suppose to use the heistmoney on when the game has been out for 3months and ive earned 100x times what i would get for robbing a bank .? Ive had every car and mc in my garage online (Not Asea and all other ugly supercars) What about when i get bored of the cars i got now? Go back to the "old" garage that bored me even more before thisone? Meeeeh...

I struck through dumb things and the green thingies are already in the game.

 

Those are some good ideas, though I wouldn't like the widebodies like they were in MCLA, as they were quite weird. They should make them look legit.

Midnight Club was by a different branch of Rockstar though. GTA is by Rockstar North and Midnight CLub is by Rockstar San Diego. Though Rockstar San Diego probably also worked on GTAV so eh.

 

Besides that having all those different customization options loaded at the same time when everyone has custom cars in an open world with many other things loaded would more than likely overload the servers. You can already see the limitations when there are a lot of people in the game having the level of customization that Midnight Club has might just be the limit.

yep. they are. because they released gta for 360 and not next gen. could have waited 3 months and been able to double the capacity of add on's in game and predict some of the many issues that also could have been avoided by waiting for next gen. seems like a lack of something...

The game would have been exactly the same. It was in development long before the next gen consoles were even announced. You might get a better framerate or slightly better loading times but do you honestly think they cared about that when they could make much more money by releasing on the current/previous gen?

 

Rockstar are a business and they did what was best for the business. The entire point of the game was to make money and thats what they did. They don't suck because of that if anything they've done what a lot of game companies wish they could do and made a game thats sold much more then people though it possibly would.

 

Anyway i'm getting way off topic here. Like I said its probably just limitations in the hardware/engine that made them not be able to implement more customization options.

Yeah, when writing it i was thinking of pure racing games, like MCLA.. For me gta is a "exploring" game, i just love too see the price when my tank is fully filled with fuel NITRO Looking for rare cars and find new sweet spots for pictures is what i think is fun, and ofc just driving bananas with some friends.. Im never the first too shot, but if you shoot first at no reason, expect mercs, robbers and bounty`s up your ass until ive had enough of calling out the troops on you., i rather honk my horn and try to make friends.. Killing in freeroam isnt reallly that fun, unless everyone in the session join the mayhem

Well of course Midnight Club: LA will blow GTA V car customization options out of the water, considering the game is 98% focused on Cars and Customization.

I too would like a bit more to play around with, there are a few that have a lot going for them and others that are quite poor - anyone modified the Surrano? 4500 bucks for two small front bumper pieces...wow.

Some cars really did get the sh*t stick, that's for sure.

i still have midnight club la for xbox and i've recently went back to playing it, great game with smarter cops. and i agree about the customization.

Well my guess is, is that game is primarily a racing game, you'd expect those features in a game that the main focus is the cars.

Stuff like tire width is pointless in a GTA game. But there's a few things I'd like in that list to be added. We already have a vast majority, although, not all of them are available on every car.

I'll list what I'd like in bold and I'd list what I think is pointless by strike through, and what we already have in green.

 

 

FRONT:

Change Frontbumpers - We already have this, although not available on all cars, it should be. More variety would be nice.

Change Headlights - Again, we have this, we can even change headlight covers on a few cars.

Change Hoods - A lot of cars have this feature already.

REAR:

-------

Change Rear Bumpers - We already have this, although not available on all cars, it should be. More variety would be nice.

Change Spoilers - We have this already, don't really need more.

Change Tail lights - A feature I'd like. Some cars would look so much better.

Change Exhausts - Not really much more they can do with this, what we have is sufficient enough.

Change License Plates - We got this.

SIDE:

Change Sideskirts - We got this, but again we need more variety.

Change Doors (Suicide, scissor etc) - Yes! Could be applied to almost any car.

Change to Widebody - Yes, widebody kits look amazing. I think the Feltzer has one by default.

Rims Materials/paint (Spoke A, Spoke B and Lip can be painted in Colour, brushed or chrome finish.) - Yes, just being able to customise the current rims would be enough to satisfy almost everyone, they wouldn't need to add any more rims if they just brought in this feature.

Change Rims Size on front/back rims - I think this is a pointless option BUT I'd like it to be in game, some rims look good but are tiny.

Change Tire Profile - Pointless in a GTA game.

Change Tire Width - Again pointless and not needed.

Change Ride Heigth - We have this already, not much more they can do.

Hydraulics/Airbags - I'd like this feature to come back, but only on the low-riders or select cars.

10 different designs to choose from - Completely useless in GTA.

Change tyre colour - Decided to add this feature to the list myself as it wasn't here, but being able to change the tyre colour would be nice to have.

BRAKES:

4 Different Designs/manufacturer - Again pointless, what we have is simple and good enough.

Change Interior Neon - Neons would be brilliant in-game.

Change Gauge Colours - Pointless, we rarely ever see the dash.

Change Interior Colours - Yes, I'm all for this, some cars have a default colour interior and it clashes with paint jobs.

Change Steering Wheels - Rarely see the interior or dash, so pointless.

Change Gauges - Again, pointless.

Change Front Seats - Don't really need to change the seats, would be remedied by being able to change interior colour.

Change Neon Underglow (Different Colours) - Neons = awesome. Everyone knows this.

Change Window Tint (Different Colours) - Yes different colour windows would be nice to have in-game.

VINYL EDITOR:

Lotsa Different Layers - Yes a simple editor would be nice, like the one on the Social Club. It's good enough for complex design too.

What it all boils down to though is, Rockstar don't want to be able to make an exact copy of real cars.

Agreed! Let's spend millions of hours and man time and space on an ocean that nobody uses cuz it's a game where it's main title is about cars!! R* I LUV you guys no homo but jezuz let's get our fu*king heads back in the game!
