I play a lot of golf, so I try to keep it friendly. I feel bad for other players when the game freaks out and hurls their ball in a random direction. A "well played sir" or "damn, that's some bad luck" is a nice gesture.

If I were a Jack Thompson type (which I am not), when there is a real life shooting spree, I would advocate for publishing the perp's gamertags as part of the packaged news coverage of the incident, just to connect the real act with the "conditioning" the guy presumably got from playing video games. Sick thought, I know, but since it popped into my head, I'm subjecting you all to it.

I've always felt the best attitude in an online game, and in life in general, is to be humble and empathetic during competition by saying something like, "Yea, I know the game is total BS, and I was camping." It's the douchebags who think they are God's that piss me off saying sh*t like "You're getting mad at a video game", and I'm like "I'm not mad at the game, I'm mad at your douchebag attitude". In life, we have people who will see something for what it is, and then we will have people who are arrogant pieces of garbage. Seems this type of game attracts a lot of kids, but the adults with this attitude are the worst.

The people who are saying "You are getting mad at a video game" are saying that to make you mad, and it seems to work.

I came out of a miss the other day to hear some kid trying to diss some other kid, he said "are you a boy or a girl I can't understand you lololol", the other kid was clearly a boy and just chatting to his mate. I said so you don't understand girls no? He was like no I just can't understand him, I said no, you're just trying take the piss mate so shut the f*ck up. He then apologised to me lol

I picked up a lot of sh*t over the years from playing Halo games at my friends house.

"Beep Beep Mutha f*ckah" whenever I run or almost run over someone.

"Bitch Ass Muthah Fuh-Kaaaahhhhh" when I just want to piss someone off.

My friends have pointed out that when I'm pissed off and kill someone, apparently I yell "Eat it! EAT IT!" and continue to unload into a corpse.

Sometimes if I want to throw someone off, I'll yell "Spit on it!" in a really high pitched voice. If a woman kills me I'll yell "Dayum guuuurrrrrrl!" and sometimes when I shotgun people I go "That's what I'm talkin bout!" in a goofy voice. I've picked all of these up from the Jaboodyshow on youtube.

 

Edit: I also occasionally try talking with a Spanish accent when there are a bunch of kids in the lobby and shyly say things like "Si...Si..." then remark on whatever they are talking about. They'll get really confused.

 

Today I spent a lot of time being like "Si...Si...me hacker. Me give you lots of money, Si!" and get the little kids all excited.
