Can't you just install them? lol it's easy. No one is gonna do a 4 GB link just for you (it is also illegal), unless you want the mods for Modloader (which it's size will be A LOT lower and also legal). Edited by darthvader20011

First someone would have to recreate the way mobile version creates these textboxes which I doubt is really that easy. Maybe one day we'll get a mouse friendly menu like mobile :)

Nice project you have got here. :) I would like to help you all but I have no idea how to operate in these programs and files and free time to spend on modding. I am writing with a question - is there any simpler/faster way to install all the texture pack (above 400MB) you posted as the last link on the OP? Or do I need to install every picture one by one with the Workshop TXD?

The thing which must 'control' it is called 'specular map'. It defines a specular intensity for each texture texel so you can apply that shininess just for some parts of a texture.

 

Per-vertex specular highlighting can be achieved even without shaders, since it's a part of D3D9 fixed-pipeline lighting.

I've moved some parameters to the .ini so you can play with them.

I like how it looks on the characters, but the file is literally appalling.

That may`be not right place for this answer, but I want to find out the names of a few trees from mobile vegetation mod, that I don`t like. I need find the names of that .txd ( I think ) files and delete them for use original ones from PC version. I know that by dint of tools like Map Editor it`s possible to find out texture names by just doble-click on them, but I newbie in this, so can anyone help me with that process ? I need just learn name of trees, thanks in advance.

 

Upd: got it, elmwee_hism.dff and locust_hi.dff. Try to find .txd that contains this .dff ...

About shadows settings extender, with "CombineRealTimeShadowsWithStencil" disabled, the shadows look much better

Please DK22pac, update SSE with a "anti aliasing" for the shadows without this problem, they look much better.

Didn't this mod already restore the mobile atmosphere(colorcycle.dat)? All you gotta do is set the RGB1 values to 0 in timecyc.dat and voila.

Nope. Looks nothing like the mobile version at all. Shame really, mobile version looks so good.

 

I think he figured out part of it. It feels like a half-solved equation. There's something else that has to be changed to not conflict with it, and it's not timecyc because that's the same in mobile.

Currently NTA is working on a script for that but the current build is however far away from the mobile look

It has a load if things that needs to be fixed. First is the heat. There are scripts that disables those

ugly blurry heat haze and colorcycle script doesn't accept it the heat being disabled.

And other problem is the real-time clock. That colorcycle script seems also not to accept it the game running in real-time clock

and therefore, I get the same problem when using the stop clock cheat: weather changes instant after some time.

There's no point of doing this since there is a mod called RIL.SAGrading (by NTAuthority) which brings the legendary 'colorcycle.dat' into PC. It's still buggy as mentioned in the thread but hopefully this will be fixed.

 

Also it is pain in the ass to finish the 20+ weathers. Some of them are not even used, but still it's really tiring and annoying to edit all those colors/color correction.

 

On-Topic: I think adding this mod which brings the cutscene actors from mobile would be nice. Also don't forget to include DK's spec-lighting on peds because there will be an alien hands if you don't install it.

Yeah, I truly hope NTA won't give up on fixing RIL.SAGrading. Honestly, imho GTA SA Mobile looks really ugly and way too saturated on my mobile

but that's because it has a S-AMOLED screen. I have the Samsung GS5. When playing GTA SA with RIL.SAGrading on the actual PC

with the actual PC monitor, then it looks really nice.

So I was looking through the thread and the mobile characters thread and there isn't single release of CJ's cutscene hands. Only his regular ones.
So I converted cs_hands.dff with Hero's tool and presto. It works now

Please format c: replace the CJ with fingers mod with mine as the one in OP includes lots of useless files and the dude just copied them from mobile anyway.
