Silent's ASI Loader is required for any ASI mods. LINK/2012's Mod Loader is recommended to install all the mods especially the ones replacing textures/models to prevent any IMG issues. CLEO library is required for any CLEO mods. What is missing? Mobile Vegetation Some models are still impossible to convert to PC format Mobile Additional Parked Cars This one is mystery since none of the usual files contain anything new. See . What is impossible? Main Menu It'd be tremendous amount of work for pointless eye-candy. Touchscreen stuff Ditto as main menu. If you really want it just get the Windows Store version. Shop UI DK already recreated majority of the Mobile HUD, but this is unlikely to ever come. I'd like to be proven wrong of course. Checkpoints in missions This most likely requires editing SCM and thus breaking all saves for not so useful feature. ASI/CLEO workarounds would end up being WAY too complex and not worth the effort. EDIT: Mind preparing a TXD file with these included as new textures? Name them whatever you find suitable. I got another question, as you probably have seen, the mobile version have some kind of "color improvement". The timecyc is the same as of PC, but it have some kind of filter. One file catch my attention, it's called colorcycle.dat http://www.sendspace.com/file/9zkm9t Can you have a look at this, to determinate if this file controls the "color filter"? Something interesting, I noticed the trees and palms are a more green in mobile, so I take a look at the textures. The mobile ones are 512x512. Lots of other interesting stuff, menu icons . . . . . About the cars, they are a dff and a txd, right? Like, rancher.dff and rancher.txd. Rockstar promissed "improved models" ... aStiffSausage 147 Posted December 17, 2013 Share Posted December 17, 2013 Vehicles are somehow different format when compared to PC, you can't export mobile vehicles to PC but you can import PC vehicles to mobile. Textures for vehicles don't seem to be enhanced at all, and also the model size is lower than in PC. And those menu textures would be nice to have in PC version, though it'd probably need some sort of menu overhaul? Link to post Share on other sites

El Dorado 3,718 Posted December 17, 2013 Share Posted December 17, 2013 On mobile, there are several png with the same textures, named planta256, planta256_fosterflowers, planta256_vgnglfcrse1, planta256_vgsn_nitree, planta256_lae2coast_alpha, planta256_civic02_lan, planta256_civic01_lan, planta256_cityhall_tr_lan On pc, the planta256 is on a txd called gta_tree_palm, inside gta3.img Link to post Share on other sites

Ash_735 17,324 Posted December 17, 2013 Share Posted December 17, 2013 Personally, at this point, for any higher res stuff, I'd hold off til the Android version where we can get access to the UNC versions, PVR compression is pretty crappy, and with all the artwork updated, we could do a nice little booster mod for San Andreas using the new textures.
