dont touch the obb files...!

 

each modified file goes in its own/original folder..

 

example... modified gta3.img:

 

sdcard/android/data/com.rockstargames.gtasa/files/texdb/gta3.img

 

in this case you need to add a new folder named 'texdb"

so are you saying that i should put nick7's radio station files in "sdcard/android/data/com.rockstargames.gtasa/files/audio/streams in order to hear them ingame instead of the ones from the .obb file ?

hello guys its true that ios san hard to edit then android san.. ? i mean making mods like pc it hard to add in ios san ?

koragg... yes it should work with no problem, i havent try the audios though, but ive modified different extensions like: .img .ide .dat; also folder with textures in it... the only one i cant make it work, its the player folder textures, no matter how i try to replace a texture, the game crashes : S even if i export an original textures and then import the same texture.. if someone help me here... jeje please...

 

btw, a tip: import the textures "without alpha" in order to avoid the weird darker color on the textures...

this works flawlessly if you place all the audio's i copyd all my original streams folder and replaced nick7's audio files and tested too works perfect jjust put files in the streams folder sdcard(internal)/android/data/com.rockstargames.gtasa/files/audio/streams should work with no problems tested and working...

 

i too would love a car or bike tut but seeing as if i replace some car model's .dff files alone over the greenwood or picador they do not seem to show but the bf-400 released earlier works without any problems.. i wonder what is the problem that some cars are not showing but their original cars are...

That's very easy! Extract two .obb to Android/data/com.rockstargames.gtasa/files/ go to texdb folder, remove all files in subdirectories with etc name and change name dxt to etc.Jeje could you write an example please, i dont have it ver clear.

 

Fix textures? I have a note 2 and im having this green/blue/red spots, that what your talking about?

Amazing tip dude... by importing without alpha the texture looks way better then it did with alpha and also the darkness issue is gone... 1+Rep for the tip dude awesome !!!

please help me AceyBwoi or osleg...

would you explain to me step by step how to mod replace car from file gta3.img? from where file gta3.img comefrom? is that from extract 2 obb file?

i've tried to mod gta3.img that was i extract from obb file and edit texture use txdf*cker at folder texdb/gta3/gta3.txt then i placed in sdcard\Android\data\com.rockstargames.gtasa\files\texdb but when i push offline button at first mainscene force closed

please help me broth,,, may god bless you

I haven't got car mod's to load yet so i cant help you there but the bike that oslec uploaded yesterday works flawlessly...

 

go into your data folder find the com.rockstargames.gtasa\files\

 

extract and paste in txd folder with all the files oslec has in the zip into that directory com.rockstargames.gtasa\files\

 

once the txd folder is done open your obb game with 7zip or any other zip program and find gta.img

which is located texdb once you find that extract it to your desktop and open with gta img tool .. replace bf400.dff once all that is complete cut the gta img into /data/com.rockstargames.gtasa\files\texdb\ < that is where you place gta3.img

 

once all that is complete you will have to find the bike which is modded... took me a while to find it after a few missions i saw it on street and robbed it of some dude lol... happy modding.. if you find any car mods that work i would love to give them a try...

 

edit: the reason why u have crash's is the mods you are placing don't work on phone yet... so its a game of trail and error.. so try one file if it crashes it wont work yet.. if it loads it might have worked but find the mod to make sure it has worked... peace..

Cleo Android updated to support GTASA v1.0.2 and v1.0.3

 

I can make it load libraries , installing w/o root requires apk rebuilidng with patching libR1/libGTAVC and adding libcleo , I can send you the patched files .

 

Can you release it for public? I would like to edit .APK file. (My phone is rooted but I would like to keep everything inside one .APK file)

My seed box says there is only one peer connected...

Also, my seed box is able to put out 3MBps so you would have no problems if you connected to me.

 

EDIT: Just popped it into my other seedbox, I can't connect to any peers...

hey Doodle210 i downloaded 98.1 % of the torrent when it stopped (no seeds) so i just went over to nick7's second link and downloaded the 5 incomplete files from there, replaced the incomplete ones from the torrent and readded the torrent. Now i'm a full time seeder as long as my pc is turned on. CONFIRMED WORKING AS I'M JUST LISTENING TO RUNNING DOWN A DREAM (rock)!

i just tried to replace a car.. the hard part is to decide which picture delete jeje

edit: i just got an RX-7 to load up but whenever i import textures game just black screen freeze... any advice why?...

(i made the game freeze by clicking on exhaust lol)

 

Edit 2 : @oslec ... dude do you place your textures into the txd.txt ? or is it gta3.txt ... ? any help?

aseybwoi... the car textures go in the gta3 folder, but you have to extract the gta3 folders from each .obb file... and then put them together.. the textures have to be imported with the same name as they come from the .txd file..

 

talking about the crashed you got when you tried to buy a spoiler.. to solve this you have to modify the carmods.dat that is in the data folder... you must replace the line in there for the one that is in the read me.txt (folder rx7 you downloaded)

Yeah, I did what "_CP_" told, deleted all files finished in "etc" and renamed all finished "dxt" for "etc". My problem was pixed textures, for example: the moon, the asphalt, the wall of the fuel station in San Fierro, and many others. An example:

hi... bro the answer was posted on page 11 post #322.. dont modify the obb files, those must stay original and in the place they are... you add the modified files... read #322...

no, you dont need to edit the apk... just add the files as i told you.. i modified them and work post #322...

any one can give me a qlu step by step how to replace car?

i've just replaced greenwood with another car the same name with imagetools that the size just 306kb the i place gta3.img at folder sdcard/android/data/com.rockstargames.gtasa/files/texdb/here...

i import txd file too with txdf*cker (edit txd.txt and import all images) to folder sdcard/android/data/com.rockstargames.gtasa/files/texdb/txd, but when i push offline button at first mainscene force closed again...

is that correct or texture car in gta3 folder not at txd folder?

i tried to move txd folder from texdb folder (sdcard/android/data/com.rockstargames.gtasa/files/texdb/) with gta3.img still in texdb folder, it succes to load the game but at the game car that was i replaced (greenwood/standby at CJ house at first mission) is missing? what was i missed?

help me please,,, thanks
