So I've just killed a 1 billion bounty , finally making me a billionaire with a modest bank balance of 1.2bil. Could have kept more, but I decided to share it with 2 of my peasants friends since I'm a good guy.

 

Here are my credentials, of course :

I shared a billion from a bounty. I didn't think twice about it. Until I see an in game message telling me that's not ok, R* can go f*ck themselves.

 

I am not interested in being an unpaid R* employee who monitors their website trying to divine what I should do in all circumstances.

Many billionaires acquired their money just by playing the game and either receiving a gift or claiming a bounty.

that's exactly how my friend got put in CP. someone put a bounty on me. he killed me and split it with me 50/50 and got sent to the pool about 20 minutes later but i never did.

Someone said the automatic system detects suspicious behavior, so I'm following this because I too am not in the cheater pool.

 

Point is, don't blow your money like crazy. Don't buy 20 Adders in 1 day.

well, i have read this thread with much jealousy and envy, having been a lowly peasant. That changed tonight. I had a 1 billion dollar bounty on me and i decided to fight it out. I holed up in the interior of the big bank on west vinewood and fought off what seemed like the entire server and a 5 star wanted level, 24 minutes later..... billionaire,

 

I am still in shell shock, but the first thing i did was buy everything in online and give Pegaus a call, immediately had a yacht delivered and spent some time sailing around LS.

 

Tommrow the garage is getting kitted out and I may have to move to an actual house. Very exciting things.
