As for Yankton plate on hdx editor when you search your plate it will be the first number before your plate string. If you have a space it will come up as 2d I think and it will be the number before that. Once again thanks to sugar free for telling me to use the hex 05 when experimenting for the Yankton plate. Tire smoke is not the hex before your car string it is in the string after your rim color. Just as the ones before it is after three sets of zeros if you don't have a color. Use any hex code from the list in the fourth set of numbers. Will gladly collaborate with anyone willing to do a text or video tut on hex editing as I have found most all of the strings.

I haven't played around with the HEX editor much but is anyone able to help me put Yankton plates on a car?

 

I can find the vehicle using the HEX code (in the PSIN file) but I am unsure where to insert the 05 at the 'start' of the vehicle line?

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated

the hex for the Yanton plate is the code immediate to the left of the license plate name in the pitcure below the area blocked in green is the License plate name to the left is the hex area for the actual plate type. 00 00 00 ## 2B 41 4C 4F 59 2B 00

I don't think so because it will interrupt the size of the file code, and could render you with an incomplete or corrupt file when importing.

you sure about that? Default tire smoke for every car is White... The hex code after rim color is not sef to 00 00 00 FF as would be the Hex color for white.

 

if you look at the image below this vehicles tire smoke is white. before the car type hex its 00 00 00 00 then the three blocks before that are 00 00 00 FF 00 00 00 FF 00 00 00 FF which is the RGB for white. I found this by creating a car changing the tire color and comparing the two PSIN files in HxD Editor it will show you what values are changed. For me every time it show this block area for tire smoke for me.

 

 

Would love to colaborate and get a video tutorial.. lmk.. Perc gave me heads up on some software. I look to start something this weekend.

Nope, because in hex/computer programming number system always starts with 0 so the default plate type is 00. you cant delete code.

it's best to switch to SP before logging off. I've gone to the dashboard from MP and lost vehicles and money before.

Sorry I realized what I did. Blond moment lol. You are right. The only thing is you need 3 numbers right. Would you be able to replace them with the same number and have the same effect as with paint and rim color?

Usually go to the Xbox store between bringing in each vehicle. Always go to SP before logging out for the night. If you get the cloud server not saving message, then Xbox store and back out until it does. If that doesn't work, wait it out. It'll eventually sync.

no probs... thats why i selfishly have not tinkered with alot of that code yet.. lazy to be honest... when Gran Turismo 1 came out for PS1 i spent weeks breaking down the hex code and changing up my cars with a gameshark. -(yes i'm dating how old i am) haha..

 

i was telling Perc or squasher that as well that the black when using chrome is darker than any of the blacks listed. Here is my Mesa with the Chrome hex code for wheel color. Loving this Alloy too as In real life i'm a fan of the Gun Metal colors (greyish black) on my muscle cars.

one of the cars i bought in last night is colored similar, but i used the Wine red for the wheel color and something similar for the tire smoke. I lost it on not syncing to servers will be using the same color code that R* users for thier Red matte Peyote...
