So now we're finding other unique colors through this hex modding? That's what it sounds like to me.

 

Yeah... i found a few cars online that had unique paint schemes that i didnt care to seek in SP till recently. When i started and looked at the hex they did exactly what i did with a few of my cars changing Hex color codes. Peeps started doing the pearlecent on Matte, but i'm totally digging using the Matte color in the pearlecent field...

 

I posted a tut in the thread above in the first spoiler... still trying to find a screen capture software to make a video...

Well im sure like everything before hex modding. If you had a ballas, or just gang car. That you could replace it. And then get whatever car you made. Pary can just do more like tire smoke, and tire color. And idk if he could do stats. But hopefully we will get to see. So the rest of us can show off. And then this thread will be ALIVE.

 

 

I'm really LIKING this 2.0.0.8 Game save editor because you can extract a particular car you build. Just have to decifer the hex in that block and see if holds any of the handling.dat info. If it does, WHEW!! its a serious game changer.....

I will look at it more in-depth tonight when I have the time. Very well written as I saw from when I skimmed it, and it has pictures to help out. Might I suggest for quick and basic capture software download Hypercam, and maybe have another program to edit the .AVI files to .MP4 so they can be uploaded to a private Youtube channel so only those you trust can watch it.

I would love to watch it just getting into this stuff myself tho but it depends on if you trust me enough with that intell.

Does the default spoiler count as part of the body of the vehicle, or is it an add-on like the bulbars on randomly spawning sandkings?

 

I'm a big fan of the Comet from GTA IV but that spoiler just kills it for me in GTA V.

we might be able to glitch it off like we did with Light Bars on Civic Police Cruisers and the exoskeletal rollcage on the Merc Mesa. Its just experimental is all.

No probs everyone is welcomed to the info. Wont be nothing sacred per se, i just wont be posting outside of this thread in open forums. I welcome anyone who can take info and share with others who may know how to read the code in depth to do so.

Possible... like Perc said... its probs in the code we'll just have to find/extract it if available. A lot of times being an app developer myself code is commented out initially to be later deleted, but 9 out of 10 times ifs left in there incase they want to go back and implement it the can by just removing a few characters. Not saying they did this in GAT V, but it happens alot in application development.

+1 on both. IMO Retro Racer only looks good on one color cars. I have a Shafter Purple with Ultra Blue pearl that looks mean with it.

 

My "LE" Futo may have it with a two tone but the top is pretty much Kifflom Blue with Mint Green pearl and Brushed Aluminum RR kit. It needs the plate and rally lights though so it can be something really different

On the topic of this..any way to get a non-rusted colour? Y'know, bring the rust off Rusty cars? Maybe Rust ontop of Rust glitches out or something? Idk, i'll read this indepth later, but not now.

The paint job just covers all the tarnish on the paint. The only visible rust is on the ride mirrors, the KC lights bar, and some rust in the bed.

 

 

 

The carbon attachments and twin intakes hood cover all the rest
