Hey gang... is the tank dupe glitch still working? After a few tries we got it to work a few times ( survived, got out and into the tank, tank did the teleport, went to my usual location and called vehicle to be duped) and the other person couldn't get it into their garage nor LSC. Not sure what happened... always worked before.

 

And... is there a more consistent way of duping cars (other than the 'buy an apartment' route)?

I do believe the tank glitch can only be done with cars that can be driven into your garage/LSC as if you found it off the street on your own. Super cars which usually can't be stored need to be duped via the apartment glitch. I hope that answers your question.

Nope you can Tank glitch super cars.. i just did that Akuma posted a page back as its a high end bike and cant be driven into LSC or your garage.

Yea, it was just a Entity. My daughter lost hers accidentally and I wanted to get her a new one. But, as I mentioned, even after successfully getting out of it after the tank destroyed it, and the tank did the 'teleport' portion of the glitch, she still couldn't put it in her garage/LSC and it had my PV icon on it... happened twice. Grrr.... can't seem to get it to work and I really don't want to spend $400k....

 

Can anyone confirm that the tank glitch is still a viable method? And hey, can anyone drop my daughter an Entity perhaps?

You can tank glitch super cars, i dont think motorcycles. Cause thats how i got all my kifflom super cars. And my new super cars in.

 

Dammit... thanks. But as I mentioned a few times, couldn't get it to work last night... arrrggg... meh, guess we'll go back to trying it again 2nite. So frustrating spending 45 min on it for nothing.

If you need someone to do it with, im a pro at driving the tank. I get it usually on the first or second try.

Jetty is right but idk if you can do personal cars. I would have one of us make and bring one in for you to save the hassel of trial and error duping a personal vehicle. Just let us know the paint scheme and plate that you would like and voila

I know duping it through the cargo bob or job circle works. But you cant store it. So what im saying is if you duped it through that way and then did the tank insurance to get the vehicle in your garage.That's what I said. If you dupe it through the job circle glitch, the one that's not marked as the owner's car can be put in your garage using the tank insurance method.

I haven't tried using the cargobob glitch with the tank insurance method so I can't verify if they work in conjunction.

Sneak a peek at my Akuma again... there is a distinct thing that can't be done online that i have one mine....

The Akuma in regards to motorcycles is just like trying to get an Adder in your garage. Only obtainable via purchase online or the Tank glitch. Stealing one off the street WILL NOT let you just drive it in your garage. The Tank glitch does work, i just did it last night...

If you have a car imported from sp to mp is R* able to tell that the car isn't a legitimate mp car? And what is the likelihood that R* will punish people for doing this?

 

Is it difficult to put custom plates on car that is already in mp?

which one are you tweaking? only the Sanchez(with sponsor stickers all over it (( Red White and Blue one in editor)) can have the wheels changed) Sanchez2 (Blue One) can only be painted and wheels cant be tweaked...
