FRANKLIN'S DAMN BUFFALO

 

For the zillions of requests I have seen for this car, there is a way YOU can do this yourself in 5 minutes. I know, I just did it.

 

In SP, play Franklin. Mod his car any way you like and save it. Go online in an invite only session and follow Alien Oh G's SP to MP glitch. But instead of being Michael, be Franklin and use his car that you have previously modified.

 

Viola! You now have Franklin's damn buffalo and with his license plate. This also goes for other SP character's cars. So easy, a Sith Lord can do it.

 

Note: I do understand that not everybody has played SP much if at all and that sometimes there are special requests for custom license plates or colors that can only be accessed through the save editor. That's fine. But I thought I would put this up as a reminder to the many requests for regular vehicles without this specific criteria. It's also an easy way to make 129k as that is what a fully upgraded Franklin buffalo sells for.

 

In other news, I have begun venturing into Hex editing. HUGE thanks to Pary for his detailed tutorial and list of colors. Whilst fumbling about in the code continuum, I noticed the name "comet2". This leads me to believe that there must exist a "comet1", perhaps with no spoiler?

 

Anywho, hopefully something radically different will be discovered. Either through the community at large or, dare I whisper it, Rockstar DLC?

got to say tired of getting those requests also that and random friend requests without telling me what it was for. -.-

Apologies for the lateness and again thanks.. as i have told others via PM or on XBL i apologize for not mapping it out more and giving more details about hex editing and the like. There are tons of stuff that can be done with the hex code once the locations and codes are found. With my last year at Drexel Uni and working full time i have not focused on the search for this stuff as i would have 1-2 years ago. Believe it or not there are some Editing you can do via Hex and SP2MP that even ISO modders (like myself) can't do. There are some things that using them both together they can accomplish that one or the other cant do alone. i may have some time next week to put some videos together that will be available in my sig here on GTA forums. i'm going to get the posting from Page 70 S/O to Argonaut for reminding me on what page they are on and pop it in my sig. I should post enough that it would be handy for many to use and i can have a place to update what i find/locate.

yea theres also a mission with Lazlow in it where you chase him down, hes in a reddish/orange Dilettante. cant remember if it had special plates or not.

Yeah, it has special plates reading LAZLOW on it. It can be seen on in game TV during the Fame or Shame commercials.

As far as what The Mechanics saying about speed, I don't know for sure. But I brought in an entity for someone and the first thing they said was it felt a lot faster, like they were going to take off.

I don't think It's even possible to save it with the casket remaining in the back. Even If you were able to get it somehow into a garage, I read that the casket would disappaer automatically . Regardless, It would have been a pretty cool vehicle to have.

For supers you still have do to the tank glitch right? Which is a pain in the arse imo (Which means I hardly ever get it working properly).. Or have I missed a new method?

Tank glitch isn't hard to do at all :l

 

All you have to do is park the tank in front of your garage and drive out. The person you're bringing in the super for can do all the work. All you have to do is sit in the car, ensuring it doesn't disappear.

 

That's how andherembrace gave me the Super Diamond, and he was even kind enough to handle the tank, storing it in his garage, and then duping it to me because I didn't live at Eclipse

 

Eclipse is the best place to do it.

I know how it's supposed to work, but I've only gotten it to work once out of 20 tries for a mate's car, and 've never gotten it to work on something I brought in myself. Maybe it's just bad luck

 

Also, does anyone have a link to a tut on how to change car colour through HxD? I've gotten the NY plates to stick, but have no idea where to find the colour hashes..

You have to position the tank just right. Andherembrace faced it forward, and when he drove out his car exploded just fine. Just remember to move the tank away before the person gets inside the high-end car you brought in, or else you'll mess the whole thing up.
