Ok I have made some corrections on nanites

Also I found out the max ships you can own is 6

And I found this on Reddit

MtXpbAT.png

Turns out all you have to do to get wispering eggs is either put a signal booster and stand on top or stand on egg they can't jump so they can't hurt you you just have to wait till they disperse

So I was hunting for an exotic ship

I didn't find but I found a different fighter ship that I liked, I was on the fence on buying it I cause I wanted a exotic ship I kept going back to the NPC so he wouldn't leave and ended up buying it :D

yMF5rHJ.jpgKourlMD.jpg

i found it on a wealthy system and I'm going to build it up (upgrades) on my old ship I'm still upgrading it with s class upgrades I think it's getting op :D

Tip#6 if you put upgrades together you get a boost on the stats they will highlight a colored ring around it

I kinda built a teleporter on a cave entrance at my base but I forgot to save and my game crashed so I have to build it again but better.

It's a huge cave system that keeps going with multiple entrances. I'm really enjoying this game :)

Yeah, I'm really enjoying NMS again... this time on XBone too. No regrets on a second purchase - It's evolved nicely and I hope it will continue to do so.

So far I've only explored three systems and then only one at length - already racked up 25 hours playtime. Building a decent base is my current goal, preferably on a really quiet, dark, barren planet.

Does anyone know if there's a limit to how many bases a player can create? I want to do an archaeological dig site near an ancient ruin as well as my home/farm on a different planet in the same system.

Baserape

You can build as many bases as you like.  I had 50+ at one point.

If you create a Base Storage Capsule at a primary location you can revisit base locations, delete and recover a % of site materials.

What's with that area full of messages through a portal? That place is nasty. Spent ten seconds there before going back. First message that popped on my screen was 'Elite Dangerous is better' lol.

Summer 2019

NO MAN’S SKY BEYOND

March 15, 2019.

"Hello Everyone,

We know that there is a lot of hunger out there for news and updates on No Man’s Sky. We wanted to share some information from behind the scenes.

Our next chapter will be called No Man’s Sky: Beyond, coming Summer 2019.

Each chapter for No Man’s Sky has been more successful than the last. Thanks to our community, NEXT our large release last year was especially so. It went on to bring enjoyment to millions of new players, and it helped to change the legacy of this game we care so much about.

Earlier this year, whilst working on our roadmap of three future updates, we decided we wanted to interweave their features, and had a vision for something much more impactful.

We are excited to announce that Beyond will contain those three major updates rolled into one larger free release.

The first component of Beyond we are announcing today is No Man’s Sky Online.

No Man’s Sky Online includes a radical new social and multiplayer experience which empowers players everywhere in the universe to meet and play together. Whilst this brings people together like never before, and has many recognisable online elements, we don’t consider No Man’s Sky to be an MMO – it won’t require a subscription, won’t contain microtransactions, and will be free for all existing players."

Sh*t man. They deserved the criticism they got at launch but you can't fault the dedication and support since, especially since they're all free. Will give that a whirl when it launches.

I feel the same way.  I was a day-1 player and shared the disappointment that most others did at the time.  I didn't share the "KILL SEAN MURRAY!" feels though.  That was more f*cked up than the blatant lies.

Regardless, they've totally nailed it since then.  It's take a long time but I'm impressed with the amount of work they've done since it was released.  It's much more than was previously promised now, so kudos to Hello Games.

Once this next update has dropped I intend to wipe my game saves and start all over again.  Last time I played it had changed too much, and despite me having a tonne of stuff and a very attractive bank balance, I simply didn't know how to play the game any more.  Starting again is a good plan and I'm really looking forward to it.

So we know  1st and 2nd part of the update is

1: online update

2: VR update

3:

I wonder what is the third part, they mentioned NPC locomotion I am hopeful it will include NPC on foot gun fights maybe a new race, this is what the game needs imo kinda like in destiny they drop enemies randomly as you fight through but we will see, I am not expecting much but I hope they surprise us. I don't have VR  I know many  people want it and are excited for it and that's great. The online portion sounds promising.

I logged in and I wanted to built stuff so I went and looked for a new base, I actually traveled all the way to center, I reached it! I went to the system but it threw me to some other system 700,000 ly away!!!! >:c I lost my base so I am building a new one

I did notice when I built the storage thingies I get my previous stash so yay!

Here are some weird looking planets I thought were neato

Just started playing this a couple days ago with some friends. Launched off a trade station straight into the wall, in a panic i mashed x so it would land me, and i then got stuck in the ceiling with no way out, even death spawns me back in the ceiling as my ship seated on one of the chairs inside.

Make sure your launch thrusters are charged before trying to summon a ship. :)

You can also go back one save just go to option menu and

It's pretty neat that they keep updating this - haven't played in ages. Might give it a go again. :)

I've actually got enough money to buy a used ps4. Then I have to save for psvr. Already got No Man's Sky on Xbox but I really want to play in VR.

It really is. I won't lie at Launch I felt completely robbed. I paid full price for something that felt like a £5-10 game. I can safely say the game after this update will be what I thought were were going to get originally. It's always what the game was intended to be, and shouldn't have been rushed out.

I'm actually going to redownload this before the update hits, and I'm actually thankful I got digital now as I most likely would have already traded it in ages ago.

Sooo, anyone tried the Beyond update yet? I've downloaded it but am away from my consoles for the next couple of days so haven't been able to fire it up.

Reading the patch notes I'm a bit more enthusiastic about some of the new base-building/fuelling approaches as well as a much-needed increased capacity for resource storage :)

Also, for those who are NMS regulars, what platform are you on? I have it on PS4 and XB1 but am more likely to be on XB1 despite the VR update, as I don't own a PSVR. Would be very cool to try that out though.

I've been away from No Mans Sky for a long time, but from what little I've played so far, it's absolutely fantastic. They really have overhauled the game a ton. There's a lot more things to do in the World now. At the start the game felt sort of barren, but you can really have a lot of fun with it now. It's still not a game for everyone, but if you want a chill exploration game with base building, quests and multiplayer now. You really can't go wrong.

This is essentially everything I need / am looking for in my gaming right now after the constant boring disappointment that is Sea of Thieves and games such as GTAO and Minecraft feeling a bit stale after literal years of playing.

I like feeling invested through having ownership in game worlds, having the scope to be creative and the allure of large-scale exploration on my periphery, should I want to take a wander (while at the same time avoiding constant immersion-breaking intervention of toxic players and forced PvP) and NMS seems like it could really be the game to cater to those needs at long last.

Might start from scratch (again) as it's been almost a year since I last played properly, and I still need to fully figure out my personal super-nerdy naming/numbering system for planets once and for all :D

I'd recommend starting from scratch. I did the same thing with this update. The beginning portion doesn't take too long, and it means you can experience the Update completely fresh and just get engrossed in it. Just gives you time to get to grips with all the features. I wasn't that fussed over my previous character as I didn't play the game a whole lot.

The new player hub kept crashing on me (PC) for some reason, heard there's console crashes so maybe it's just unstable idk. Completely forgot how to play the game though so I dunno if I wanna give it another go even though the update seems great content wise.

Billy's probably right that starting from scratch is the way to go.

😮 hi!!

I mean good seeing you here again :p

oh I mean I've played this update yesterday I'm still in my legacy save hell no I'm not starting over >:c but I'm still looking for a perfect planet. One with out burning rain so I haven't gone into the new building thingies yet. I have visited the new social area but it has bugs and I get crashes (PS4) and I hear bug fixes are coming. I'm looking forward to building a new home :)

so now with npc locomotion and Sean stating that "this update is another stepping stone for what's to come" I'm just waiting for npc fps battle's.
