That's it, I'm convinced. As soon as that paycheck comes in I'm buying this game as it seems like a game you can chill to and admire. I'm interested how infinite the game really is or if it's just a copy paste mechanic with similar planets.

I know it seems contrary to how to play the game, but maybe just jump to a few systems, or look for a beacon marker somewhere in your current system. The beacon and all the prompts after it lead me to all three of my space anomolies where I was able to find the Atlas Stone then get the plans for the Atlas Pass.

Back OT: The second time I visited the Atlas it was black, not sure if the color has any significance but for the record I'm on the atlas path.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Also, once you receive an Atlas Pass don't skip any space stations, behind each of the v1 atlas doors is an exo-suit upgrade. They are also on the planets in these "eggs", easy to spot from the sky as their openings glow bright;

 

I past the Atlas part so I'm 3 or 4 systems away 0_0 either way I've been getting the extra exo suit slots by using beacons on planets , still not I have to travel back.

Anyhow, am I the only one who's dying to know what the upcoming content will be? The already announced stuff sounds cool and all, but it also sounds like base building is probably just the beginning.

Well i got super lucky with my starting planet. No atmosphere problems a warm 25C and huge gold deposits everywhere.

 

5 hours later im flying to my next system in a 2millionU ship (with a handy 23 slots).

 

But then next planet i land on is a toxic hellhole with a warm 256C daytime temperture and infested with giant predatory crab spiders..... I love this game.

Well I'll be away from home till wednesday. I'll probably look at reviews and such before I buy the game and Steam always lets you refund a game if you've played it less than 2 hours(and bought the game less than 2 weeks ago). Dunno if 2 hours will be enough to make up a proper opinion tho.

I absolutely love it. It's everything I hoped for and then some. I would recommend it to anyone who likes space exploring.

I feel bad for anyone who isn't loving this game. After all the time waiting and all the hype it must really suck arses to be disappointed.

 

I'm enjoying it at a ridiculous level. I've only had chance to play for about 6 hours so far, but I did just find my first animal that resembles Bungle, from Rainbow.

Hasn't happend to me, but you're certainly not the only one who's had that particular crash. It's a known issue.

 

Also:

 

 

We’re tracking a number of issues, bugs and crashes that players are reporting, and working to resolve as soon as possible.

 

The number of people players, and length of average play session, has been far more than our small team could have anticipated. That said, we’re working quickly to adapt.

 

We sincerely apologise to anyone affected in the meantime.

 

Here are some things to be aware of:

• We’ve brought a new QA team on board today (larger than the entire Hello Games team!). This will complement the existing Sony QA team.
• We are working on fixes for the most critical issues, which will be in a patch in the near future.
• We will be moving to a ticketed support system next week, and have hired someone to manage this starting Monday.

Workarounds

Here are some workarounds for some known issues:

• If you believe you are stuck, or can’t reach your ship, be aware you can jetpack forever whilst pushing against any surface
• If you have made a mistake – you can revert to any of your two previous saves in the Options Menu
• If you have left your ship somewhere inaccessible, you will be able to summon it from landing pads or beacons found at most buildings or points of interest (marked by question marks)

 

It has been reported that some players have not received a pre-order bonus. In most cases so far, the player has either not redeemed their bonus correctly from the PS store or from the Options Menu. Also sometimes players have received the bonus, but the name displayed in-game was incorrect. The Alpha Vector ship is named Domanish S84 in-game, and (in the US) the Rezosu AZ65 is named Final Shadow XIV in game.

 

It has been reported that using the pre-order bonus ship will leave some players stranded, if they purchase or transfer to a new ship that does not have a hyperdrive (if done very early in game). In most cases the player is actually able to continue (107 of the 135 reports emailed so far). The game already detects the player needs a hyperdrive and directs them to a nearby NPC who will give the player the hyperdrive they need. Some other players were able to resolve this issue by restarting their console.

oh yea happened to me when I first got the game, lost an hour of progress had to start over sine it did not save,so just get in your ship then get out and it saves just in case it happens again but after that one time I haven't had a crash anymore,i did start a new game on an alternate account (I wanted to see if my og account had the hyperdrive since I got the bonus ship and wanted to see on that account if the blueprint had the antimatter or not,you have to get that recipe on a later time)but it did also crash on the beginning so yea Edited August 12, 2016 by deadx23
